  1. the manual says every 60,000km I think, but depends on how you drive the car
  2. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO amazing how active the forum can be at 1:45 in the morning
  3. I use penrite 10tenths 75/90 gear oil which is GL-6 which is more for LSD grearboxs. I'm not sure if there are any adverse effects of using it in a normal box though. Feels great but I think needs changing. Will get it done next service and was ~$55 for 2.5L (the perfect amount). It's been in there 12 months now.
  4. If you trust your car to a monkey go right ahead... no worries there's no sugar toooo daaaa aaaiirrrrporrrrt!!! :P
  5. hmmmmm seeing that shao, I might take the boot trim out... looks sweet :D mine looks the same right now except no tripod and I've got the jack equipment in place.
  6. The front is easy but I've found the rear I cannot get the rear off the ground with my hydraulic jack and need to use the scissor jack to get it the rest of the way. The jacking points for hydraulic jacks are: On the front - just behind the tow hook On the rear - just behind the spare tyre well on the metal bit that just sticks down The side jack points for your scissor jacks and axel stands are on the side rails behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel between the 2 notches in the rail. I rotated the same way you did by jacking up one side, swap wheels then do the other side.
  7. the stud pattern is 4x100 ;) many people have put 205/50r16s onto the stock rims, they fit but are not ideal.
  8. passenger seat is staying, spare and tools come out at the track ;) all the wall trim in the boot is staying too, too fidly to take out. on another note, you'll be very proud Brennden... I cleaned the interior after I took it out amd all I can say is that I'll keep taking it out every time I clean it now. It was soooo easy to get into the hard to reach areas and took half the time :) :D
  9. OK, I have just over 1/4 tank of fuel (enough to get me there and for the light to come on at the track)... I should put the jerry can in just incase... all the interior in the back is stripped appart from the sound deadenning on the floor and in the boot area. The spare and emergency tool kit are still in the back and I'll stow them in Daves car on the night (if that's still the go. so all in all I'll be down 50kg from the interior and about 20kg worth of fuel from last time :) BUT... I will be running on my gold rims not the stockies so not as much grip... but we'll see how I go. :D
  10. seriously though... how hard is it to send stuff <_< <_< <_< <_<
  11. just stripped my car seats out.... L seat - 3 kg R seat - 4.5 kg L backrest + headrest - 9 kg R backrest + headrest - 13kg Side bolsters - 2kg total for everything covered in leather ~ 31.5 kg
  12. which forums? what do they recommend... and if you say Street Commodores and they recommend Armour All or Eagle One I'll slap you :P
  13. I actually would go straight across the Hume Highway and... follow Henry Lawson Road until you reach Newbridge Road. Turn right onto Newbridbe road and follow it for about 1km Turn left into Nuwarra Road (just before the Caltex) and follow that to Heathcote Road. Turn left onto Heathcote Road and follow it to the Princes Highway. Turn right onto the Princes Highway and follow the Freeway. After the Freeway finishes look out for a Blue Sportivo parked in front of the GREEN FENCE at Bulli Tops where there is some construction going on ;) The Blue Sportivo will then lead you to Kiama ;)

  17. Well, I've been interested in these for a while as many know and due to the failed Jaycar kit (I fryed it by being clumbsy) I've been out looking again. This is the best section I have found and they are all reasonably priced too this is my favourite one, it looks so sleek and stylish... http://thedynoshop.net/shift_light.htm these SPARCO ones look very interesing http://www.cardomain.com/shoplist~b~Sparco~t~Shift+Lights and instrustions https://www.sparcousa.com/resourceFiles/51.pdf this one looked pretty good and the clubrsx.com site has a huge list of differnt styles too http://store.clubrsx.com/merchant.mv?Scree...roduct_Count=12 the Spa Design is a fairly common one http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/sequentialshiftlight.asp http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/sftlight.htm and this one is similar to what North/Shao did to their car using many lights http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_2096/article.html I hope you all find that useful and if you come across any more in the same style, let me know :D
