  1. awesome :) he's a top bloke, I had a chat to him at Al Palmers Show where the little rolla of his took top prize (over Rolla Boy too)
  2. despite the problems in the cold I still had a great night. :) Bec and Charmaine did you guys get any pics/vids?
  3. Great stuff by both Bill and Tom... and is Jason now the fastest sedan with his 16.1 :P the conditions were awesome but unfortunately for the 2ZZ, a little TOO cold. Despite having the engine running the oil temp was cooling down too much and I was unable to get lift in 1st gear out on the strip :( I'm going to have to go out looking at oil temp guages Lift was running fine in the other gears as Tom can testify to in our run together though. It was definately temperature related as on the way home I tested it out at a few stops and it was working fine then. Oh well, next time... I may be going back out on the 5th with Toymods... ;)
  4. Tom... chuck in about $15 of 98 octane and reset the ECU... go for a quick fang and you'll be set :D
  5. My driveway sucks... from the gutter it raises and then goes down into an underground carpark, so it has this lovely big hump on it that has scraped my Cat a few times from not being careful enough,
  6. put a DVD burner in your PC Azza... problem solvered!!! :P But seriously.... get a digital reveiver/amplifier that has the Dolby/DVS etc decoder in it rather then the DVD player/recorder. Make sure that is has an optical input as this runs off the DVDs raw sound informations where as the AV already alters the aound a little. The Digital amp can be used to run as a multi media hub very easilly with DVD, TV, PS2, X-Box, PC all running through the system and it keeps everything nice and organised. The only problem I see now is do the optical cables run 2 ways? ie is there an optical input on the DVD-R and output on the Amplifier as this would be ideal :)
  7. I do that already with just springs though... damn stupid driveway <_<
  8. you probably would... it's not a racetrack, we treat the roads wioth respect... it's all about the control up that way
  9. I was going to do that when I had the CAI out... Oh well. I can go and weigh my airbox easy enough as its all together, but it's painted so will be slightly, very slightly heavier.
  10. I'm looking into it :)
  11. you are right, I was reading the wrong dates... even more boring now. the France - Sth Korea rematch is the only one of any interest there for me.
  12. Switzerland and Togo.... sorry.... boring followed by France and South Korea... more interesting but France should win 4-0 (no Guus for the Sth Koreans this time ;) he's ours)
  13. I'll be up at 5:00 tomorrow to watch :) tonights game looks boring as Bat Sh!te so will sleep early to got up and watch Brazil - Croatia
  14. YES!!! just becsuse it's raining in Sydney doesn't mean it is down south... and vice versa
  15. I'm getting there between 5-5:30 and meeting Bill (xoom) on the side of the entry road outside the gate. If you can't get there that early, it's easy to find people inside :)
  16. GAME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! forcast is SUNNY until Friday :D should be a great night for racing tomorrow night :D :D :D :D
  17. dyno days? track days? Drag days? any number of reasons that require a swift deadline
  18. sorry Charms... too busy actually watching the game :P and Go Czech Republic too :)
  19. what they are saying is to meet them at the Villawood Maccas meet up spot if you are coming from the city. They were expecting you to come from Gosford which is why they suggested the Thornleigh pre-meet up spot. Forget that and head to Villawood Maccas on Woodville road, just down from Western Toyota.
  20. the stud pattern is 4x100 ;) many people have put 205/50r16s onto the stock rims, they fit but are not ideal. Oh... so 4x100 for the 1ZZ stocks as well? yep... been 4x100 on corollas since the AE82 *phew* Got me worried there for a while... :D What do you mean they are not ideal? ie. the diameter of the tyres are out whichever profile you pick? the width is not idea 6.5" width rim is ideal for 205mm tread face
