if you can make the 4th August there may be a well organised and timed day on, but need to book in advance. It's $120 for the day including a BBQ lunch, and timers for EVERY car. Probably a 30 car limit for the day and there are a few interested already. Does not include $40 Wakefield Park Annual License or petrol.

Awesome stuff Brian... gives us something to aim for :) I'll have to look more seriously into a couple of semis now Also interested Brian, what had you done to the car for the run. Was it in full street trim, of what level of wieght reduction did you have. Looking at my times last time to those of the time before. On runs where I couldn't get lift in 1st I was running half a second better from the shedded weight in the back. which would have brought me into the 14.5 territory pretty easilly. Anyway, can't wait to see the time slips. It's an awesome effort :)

the 93kw engined corolla has an electronic throttle body, the 100kw one still uses a throttle cable system. It is the easiest way to tell ;)

there was a Jazz out at the Circuit Club event I went out to see last year, didn't go too badly around Wakefield... I may be heading down on the 4th Aug if you are interested ;) :P

if you have a good dealer they would replace it free of charge, it's just a press button stud after all probably about 50c worth... if not... try Bunnings, I'm sure they are cheaper...

Garry, we are all frustrated by this but there is nothing we can do. Quite franctly neither can fair trading until a positive trace is made on the packages. If they go missing fair trading will be looking at Australia Post rather then Northy and Bren. We cannot do anything until the packages turn up or a positive trace is found. That sucks but that's the way it is. We are all frustrated and would just like our bits and pieces but we need to be patient. Some times these things happen. No one is trying to take you for a ride here. There are many others here in the same boat as you. Just chill and wait until they get to Bruce again so we at least know where they are.

We'll be going up Jamberoo mountain rather then Macquarie Pass to Robertson (pies if anyone wants them :) ) then heading back through the Highlands to the Hume Highway. If anyone wants to go down Macquarie Pass from Robertson they can but for the Canberra guys I thought is better to go out through the Highlands. Anyone up for a game of cricket at Bowral Oval? :P
