  1. be funny if this one arrived before the other one gets sorted out by Aust Post and NZ Post.
  2. The meet willl be followed by a leasurely drive up to Palm Beach. :D the route is fairly simple. This is where we will be going... Woodville Road to Parramatta Road (turn Right) Follow Parramatta Road to James Ruse Drive Turn left up James Ruse Drive to Victoria Road Follow Victoria Road to Land Cove Road (turn left) Continue across the M2 onto Ryde Road and onto Mona Vale Road (all the same road just changes name) Turn Left at McCarrs Creek road (tucked away at the top of a hill and hard to spot if you don't know it's there) Follow McCarrs Creek Road (Twisty) to Barrenjoey Road and turn left. This will lead us all the way to Palm Beach. I'd say it's a 1-1.5 hour drive depending on traffic conditions and if people get lost. The best way would be to have a few groups if we have a lot of people and have a designated leader for each group which saves stopping a group of 30 cars on the sice of a road to wait for 2 people who were caught at a light...
  3. what about me? a few days... actually no... mine will be a tall ride as far as coilovers go because of my driveway :(
  4. I go to Wollongong Toyota, I've had no issues with them other then my clutch adjustment, but I have heard other people having issues with them... oh well...
  5. can some one help me out here? is there an oil temp pin out or does a sender have to be installed?
  6. had my 3 year service done yesterday and it's running sweet as :)
  7. the point I was making was that if there is no oil temp signal to the ecu, a gauge would require a sender being installed and I CBF'ed
  8. hmmmmmm so is there any point in me getting an oil temp gauge then? the only other thing I cna think of it the clutch may not have fully engaged on launch due to the wear. The other times I've made lift were with 'soft' launches. hmmmmmmmmm
  9. the spider chat links don't work :(
  10. mine just falls asleep B) NEED TO GET A FASTER CAR....OR GO FASTER LOL go faster she even fell asleep on out last Old Pac run... :o :o :o
  11. It has to be oil temp. My coolant temp was above 1/3 on the gauge. On my drive home it was working fine activating lift in 1st and has worked fine since. It was just at the track where it was really bloody cold and the can standing at idle for ages where it wouldn't. Don't know how better to explain it then that...

Mish, I explained before.... there is no 3000, or 4000 club They would be the same people anyway. 5000 club is something special
  14. The lift controller works from the oil temp. The temp gauge on the dash is water (coolant) temperature. Hence the reason I'm getting some extra gauges ;) My coolant temp was fine on the night but the oil in the sump was cooling down too much (~8 degrees ambiant Temp and 18 degrees track). The oil temp has to be above 70 degrees for it to go into lift, I estimarte I was between 55-65 degrees, because once I had shifted into 2nd it was able to engage lift again, so only borderline on the initial temps.
