  1. sorry bill I'm stealing your image for the toymods Vtec Yo topic :P
  2. That's the other issue I have with the rear wing in that there is no highmount rear light. You'd have to get one from a regular rolla and install it behind the glass instead of mounted into the spoiler. At the end of the day the $$ required was just not worth the individuality (on a Sportivo or Levin) for an Ascent or Conquest it would be a great look though.
  3. I don't understand what you are on about Tom... you can see the top right hand corner on your windscrean quite clearly :) :P
  4. I've wanted the rear wing for about 3 years, but as soon as I realised that there are big **** holes left when you remove the OEM wing I forgot about the idea.
  5. good point, haven't heard anything about the dyno comparison tests for a while
  6. I find if it doesn't rain my car just gets real dusty... at least the rain washes the dirt and dust away...
  7. every time out at the circuit I take out the spare, boot liner, jack, tools, etc. and it helps turn in a lot. Last time I took the floor seats out and layed the rear back rests forward (I didn't have the time or space to take everything out) and that was an improvement on the weight distribution too. Next time I'll make sure to gut it though :)
  8. They are also chain driven, not belt.
  9. No need to remove back seats, just fold them down. Apparently it reduces weight and gives more downforce over the rear wheels. I did that last time but as there is no power to the rear wheels it serves no purpose. What is does do is lower the centre of gravity which I found was a big improvement at the circuit though :) . The next time out we'll know for sure what the weight reduction can do. And the reason it hasn't been done before is bragging rights is usually done in street trim... this time I'm going for outright pace to see if it's worthwhile doing anything to try and compete in Compak Attack next season.
  10. no snow that I know of, too close to the coast for that and not enough altitude. But we get some pretty severe hail storms, but not very often.
  11. I was thinking to looked like the eclipse actually, only a 4 door version
  12. I just got home... left early to beat the rain and cold... it's FREEZZZZZZZZZZZZING out there!!! Thought it was going to snow for a little while...
  13. SyxXPaC Bill on the other hand is a pretty tall fella...
  14. careful out there Jase, the roads are slippery... don't drive angry...
  15. by memory they were ~$420 for the strut tops... they do have a website but I forget what it is... Google is your friend ;) I got the info from just e-mailing them and asking what they had for the Corollas. They have a massive front Sway bar too, but I suspect it would induce extra understeer...
  16. K-MAC make strut tops that you can alter the camber and castor on ;)
  17. it all depands on the budget you have... you can get a reasonable set from anywhere between $1000 to $4000...
  18. we'll see those results in a couple of weeks Bill's, Dave's and My times were all done in street trim too. The low weight game is just about to start... :)
  19. And the fact all 3 of these car have CES exhausts fitted means absolutely nothing
