  4. they would be well oversize and possibly scrub 205/50r16 is the best option in terms of size vs price vs availability of brands
  5. how come you guys chew through clutches when I'm still on my original? :P and Zee - you know you want to buy a helmet, just think of the helmets at Wakefield that the guys that smoke and have bad bad bad bad bad breath use and pass around for others to rent... your tyres will do great on the WSID rubber too... it's Compak Attack this weekend so the track will be rubbered up when we go out there.
  6. about 2 1/2 hours from Canberra if you take Hume Highway/Illawarra Highway and you get to drive Macquaries Pass ;) about 4 hours if you go via Batemans Bay but you get to drive Clide Mountain....

  11. and I believe you too... keep ringing around the wreckers :P
  12. but are the extractors designed to fit the same as the standard ones? :P shouldn't be any difference in that case Tom, I've heard that headers can be a bitch to get access to as there is not much room to work with. But you should be able to change the exhaust yourself. But as you would pay some one to change the headers, they can do the exhaust at the same time as they heve to take the old one off anyway.
  13. Have you ever looked under the car Tom :P actually, you don't even need to do that, open the bonnet and shine a torch at the base of the firewall behind the engine, you will see 2 spring bolts on either side of a fat pipe... that is the flange on the end of your extractors!!! :)
  14. interesting read, but not really what he was asking. He wants to know, rather then change over the cat-back 1ZZ exhaust for the 2ZZ exhaust as many people have done with great success, is it possible to change the cat too (this would save time and effort and if it fits on the 1ZZ headers, you could do the change over yourself at home pretty easilly) does anyone know if this would work or is Tom the test case?
  15. looks like a good question to ask in the main forum to me :) wooo hooo Tom, you'll now have 2 posts that aren't about whoring the forum, the other being the carputer :P
  16. I wonder if the stivo exhaust would bolt on to the end of the extractors so you get the hi-flow cat as well?
  17. Tom... I know that you know where there is one sitting at a wreckers yard :P I'm keen, don't worry :D need a support vehicle to stash the excess weight in though...
