  1. I must admit you can't help idiots, but there are idiot drivers out there too
  2. Just finished cleaning the car so I'm ready to roll. Including the 6 monthly wax so it's looking very sparkly. :) Bringing along one of the guys from Toymods, though he is between Toyotas at the moment moving from a AE92 SECA to a Cressida.
  3. Are you certain it's the intake? Do you have any other mods, exhaust maybe, is this is also typical of various aftermarket exhausts.
  4. Actually no it's not, the external temp sensor is on the inside of the bumper, just below the grille.
  5. Mine is the same Tom, I just clean the corrosion off every month or so, but should look at replacing it soon.
  6. 1ZZ-FE had a similar incident a couple of years ago from memory
  7. they did get a limited number or Sportivos into NZ too, as the Corolla GTi
  8. all 3 look Very nice I would rate them VOLK > Enkei > SSR on looks alone :) nice stuff!!!
  9. I was about to post the same thing... Origin 2 means all the V8 bogans (no offense Justin) will be glued to the TV screens... :D :D :D :D :D :D more track time for me :D :D :D :P :P :P :P :P :P
  10. I've had issue's with Aust Post international at Sydney before. It's nothing new for things to be returned to the source for no apparent reason.
  11. 240kw is his max figure... I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have been running that on the track as he would have blown the engine up following the 1st gear change looking at how the engine block was behaving at Toymods Dyno Day 12 (when he made that figure). He would have been running ~180kw I would reakon.
  12. it should fit as the chassis is the same I thought have you already ordered it from the group buy Dennis?
  13. I'd also strap down the head a little tighter ;) it was an interesting car to see on the rollers but made some great numbers, keep up the good work Dan :)
  14. considering the standard tyre size is 195/55r16 most tyre fitters will consider it irresponsible to fit 205/55r16s for the street.
  15. I've just got to say. The people on this forum are AWESOME!!!! I recently put a call out for info on Cusco strut braces and the information I received about the right people to talk to was spot on. It has saved me in the order of $30-$45 to get the brace, and I have passed the information on to the others that was interested and they are also reeping from the rewards. The small amout that I put out to keep this forum progressing and dynamic is well worth in, not just for me, but for everyone else too. Steve cannot foot the bill for this site alone and the contributions of us all go a long way to building and improving the services that become available. End Rant :P
  16. Alright as a fellow cyclist I understand your frustration but as a driver i'll tell you what annoys me... Cyclists expect to be treated as a fellow road user except they don't follow the rules, all too often I see cyclists blatantly ignoring red signals and riding through intersections so the same cyclist that caused problems 200m back causes the same problem again 200m further down the road. Want another one? How about crossing two lanes of heavy traffic in order to make a right turn, happened in front of me the other day when there was a perfectly good set of traffic lights just up the road. Sometimes it works both ways <_< agree entirely, there are many cyclists that abuse the extra vision they have of the road to disobey the road rules and as a law abiding cyclist it does annoy me. But I am also one of those cyclists that move across a couple of lanes to turn right, but I would not do it in heavy traffic, that's just suicide.
  17. I have trouble getting into my driveway as it is <_<
  18. quite an extensive redesign, looks pretty good and the sportivo front lip is a winner :) nice
  19. where did you get that price from? is that for 205/50r16? can you hook me up? I've been quoted $180-$210 per rim...
  20. would look great in black as the lines are disguised. White shows up all the shadows. Very much a VIP look...
  21. I can just imagine the vents in the front of the bonnet, or the trumpets sticking out the front of the car now.. btw... can we get a link that works, I get the same as Danz

    My Son

it's kind of crazy being so small but he REALLY does :D :D
  23. hmmm is it $3K just for the unit ???? If so thats a bit steap .... I mean ur pretty much in motec territory there .... I have no idea how much it costs, it was just an estimate of the total cost of install, I've not enquired yet, but I'd assume these guys would be able to supply install and tune the thing. How well in another story... I've not enquired as yet, but I shall at some point in time that I feel fit :P
