  1. I've been told by Ignition-X for strut braces... TRD $325 C-One $280 both I'm waiting on prices for Cusco and Summit ;)
  2. that's why I thought it was a nice find... hadn't had time to do a check... A thought AEM stopped making CAI's for the corolla too.
  3. I know this may be a long shot, but does any one know the part numbers for the Cusco or the Summit bars?

Hell Boy Judge Dread the Punisher Van Helsing.... just to name a few from the last 5 years :P
  5. it's still a 1 piece I believe, but the V2 has the vortex generator (the bulby bit) that is supposed to improve the airflow.
  6. I cleaned mine (AEM pod) which is a gauze type pod I think, by this method. Rinse it with water to get rid of any lose particles. Use a bucket and put some detergent and water in there and massage the detergent into the filter paying close attention to the more dirty area. Then rinse it with water again thoroughly Backflush it (fill the pod from the inside and let the water drain out through the pores) this will unclog all the pores. Then let it dry. Apply some oil (I used K&N filter oil) which acts as a water repallant. Massage the oil in (follow the insructions on the bottle) Let the oil dry overnight if you can. Then pop it back on the end of the pipe. when drying, it is best to let it air-dry, do not force dry it with a hairdryer or put in an oven...
  7. get Graham on here too and you guys can race them!!! :P though his has a few months head start on you guys...
  8. yeah the intake piping is there and the alternator looks likt the right one, but I still can't see the engine!!! that's the whole point of discussion...
  9. dude that shows nothing... there could be anything behind that engine cover and radiator... where are the REAL pics!!! OF THE ENGINE!!!
  10. the Lexus IS-200 uses the 1G-GE engine, I'm sure you mean the RS-200 (ie Altezza) ;) but if you are going to turbo, it's prob cheaper and easier to get a 4th gen 3S-GTE out of a Caldina Front cut and transplant it. The internals and electricals of the GE and the GTE are quite different.
  11. Congrats to Sunny then too :)
  12. not bad considering the model tested had no passenger airbag... and even no side airbags like the Levin.

  14. have you got any info of this 'on the run' place? I was looking for them at Yellow Pages and White Pages with on luck...
  15. you are right it's VERY similar to the Cusco one... this is a GOOD side-track... :) (ie it's not TRD/Whiteline info :P )
  16. Alright I've sent out a few e-mails to several places, I'll see what comes back... Cheers for the help so far guys :)
  17. Any more info on this 'Summit' one Dan? you have sparked interest here...
  18. a truer word has never been said!!! 5 doors is definately better than 2 in this situation... ;)
  19. I'm sure the Sydney lot would have been delivered to Bill... I'm keen for a meet this weekend ;) anyone else? I hear Aqua Golf is on offer :D it's about time we do another meet/install... it's been a while :)
  20. nice work man... and it's waving at us already too... It'll be a heart breaker that's for sure :P
  21. it's like this one... I've seen them before so I know they are available. They also look more ridgid then the TRD one. They are more similar to the C-One Brace.
  22. Hey, I'm interested too. Will they discount for group buy ? I'll keep you posted when I find out info on prices :) anyone else?
  23. http://www.toymods.net may also be able to assist you in finding an engine pretty fast.
  24. I'm still a small chance of making it, but I'll have to leave the decision pretty late... I want to go up, but we will see. :) I have Insurance, Rego and coilovers to think about that will blow a big hole in my pocket, but I'm doing what I can to save :)
