  1. Yep, that stuff goes by numerous names, but works a treat. ← yep... note my post above, currently $1.99 from the Warehouse!!! :) great stuff... I have also noticed that it is a water repellant too, and if it gets on the rims, doesn't matter, does not stain and acually puts a protective layer on them too :D
  2. Infux has a Carline exhaust that he is currently selling...
  3. Justin... it along way for them to come from Melbourne... it's pretty easy step 1 - locate the panel in front of the wheel arch underneath the car step 2 - remove the blister plug and 2 screw that secure it in place step 3 - open the panel (may need to shimmy it out a bit but don't worry, it's hard to break step 4 - unplug the red plug on the top of the light fitting step 5 - locate the press locks on the side of the light fitting to the inside of the car (should be 2) step 6 - use you fingers (or is that fails some pinchers or even a flat scredriver) for pinch the press locks and push the light fitting out step 7 - stand back and marvel at the ease in which these things are removed and have a beer step 8 - replace the undertray panel and screw back in place and replace press stud.
  4. Doesn't AVGAS contain lead??? ← On average, Av-Gas containa around 2grams of lead per gallon (about 4 litres) ← and it takes only a 1/4 of that to completely F### your cataytic converter...
  5. Dude, like I said Western Toyota are well aware of the problem and WILL fix it for you, just ring them up, tell them you bought it from them and they will fix it!!! The guys there are good, I just had this one problem as I bought mine in Adelaide and there was nothing I could do, but they still sorted me out under warrantee even though they didn't have to.
  6. http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au/vehic...IQ&key=TOYO05EG looks like they've just updates as few of the inclusions and corrected some mass figures...
  7. Since you purchased your car from Western Toyota they will fix it for you under warranty, I had my clutch fixed there and it's sweet as now (they have done quite a few) but as mine was not purchased there, there was some argueing about actually having the fix done (I bought the car in Adelaide when I lived there and wasn't going to drive all the way back just to get the clutch fixed ) as they said they will only fix their own customers car out of courtesy...
  8. how much these springs worth? how much they lower by? ← check out my car on Sat night ;) there is a issue with these springs that the lowest coil on the rears does not fit completely around the retaining support so they do not actually sit on the seat properly, but if you line them up correctly when you have them installed, once you have gone over a couple of bumps they will drop into place. At present one of my rears is seated properly and the other is out of alignment so has not lowered that side as dramatically, but the drop is good, but not certain of the actual figure. If you check the tein website it has all the specs there...
  9. the only time I really notice bad axel tramp is in the wet where there is VERY limmited traction
  10. I'll do my darndest to get there and I'll bring the tools... ;)
  11. and while the gearbox is removed to put the clutch and Flywheel in, may as well open it up and chuck an LSD in there
  12. yeah xtarcy... if you can make it to the regular meet on Sat night, I'll make an effort to come up to relocate your horn for you...
  13. OI... careful what you are calling stuffed!!! worked fine when connected to my car :P
  14. I know, it's more of a pipe dream of mine that I've had since the day I bought the car. But as the warranty expiration date looms, more ideas keep filling my head... this could get a little expensive I know, but I'd kinda just like to know if it can be done. If it is properly engineered and certified it should be OK.
  15. The coalcliff bridge (now oficially named 'sea cliff bridge') is openning to the public on 11 Dec also se we may be able to take the coast road all the way back :D
  16. teh facelift models have the teardrop headlights and fully integrated front bar... though only on the hatches, the wagons and sedans had some modifications but not as noticable
  17. my understanding is that all CAIs will need the fog light removed on the facelift model as the casing is larger. But, modifications can be made to make it fit... Lucio has given a good run down on the Injen installation.
  18. I'm starting to get very curious about this, so much so I'm scouting wreckers for dinged up Celicas... This has always been a major shortcoming of the new rollas and I would like to know if it can be done, would definately make it more fun around the track...
  19. I bought the stivo solely on the fact it is the ONLY car in it's class with 5 doors... all others are 3 door, I tested a whole heap of cars when I bought too and the Type S, Citroen Xsara and Stivo were the only ones I would buy of the lot... though the Xsara is now superseeded by the C4 which is also an awesome machine...
