  1. yes, but more importantly I noticed she was a dumb @rse!!!
  2. The bolt that I always have trouble with is the 3rd bolt on the rear suspension (the one you take out from the bottom) it's now a little rounded and I'm scared to take it out incase it never goes back on there again, or it rounds more and I can't even get it out.
  3. takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, I'll see what I can do on the weekend. though I do have 1 bolt in particular I may have issues with
  4. That's one thing I haven't tried, but I've debated it, I just haven't been bothered to try. Might give it a go this weekend and see how it feels/sounds. If the sound continues with the stock suspension then I can put it down to the CVs.
  5. I've done that last time I had an alignment and they said 'maybe the coilovers are too tight, but we really have no idea' at the end of the day you'd have to check every component to narrow it down and I'm slowly doing that. As my CV boots have never split I never considered that it was a CV issue. I've suspected bearings but they are fine. I've looked at greasing the suspension bushes in the pillow tops and the noise comes back within days. I still feel in most cases it's to do with the camber pillow tops. but cannot track down the exact problem. It may be as Bill (xoom) has done, that you need to replace the entire pillow ball assembly. :(
  6. I stand corrected Read some of Julian Edgar's work on http://autoweb.drive.com.au/ and you'll realise there is at least 1 unbiased motoring journo in Australia.
  7. I can see how that works for the inner CV, but the outer CV's height is dictated by the radius of the wheel as it's connected to the hub.
  8. was taken on long exposure with a car (Craig's Red corolla sedan) with it's lights on driving around the stationary Celica
  9. I that Craig the Puzzleman for this effort :D
  10. yeah I'm questioning getting mine checked even though my rubbers are still 100% intact.
  11. I'd do it for you but I'm in Wollongong. :( If you wait until the next meet, there will be plenty of people to help you out :)
  12. also add in a few washers as spacers under the brace on the suspension bolts so it all sits flat and you're not bending the clamps
  13. riiiiiiiiiight... twin turbo with exhaust runners from the heads to the cat...
  14. yep, get the boot replaced and repacked ASAP to avoid damage to the CV joint itself. but that's a big let go of the seems there... never seen a CV boot leak with that much grease before.
  15. I think Northy edited 351's thread ;)

    WHY ?

same... this is the 1st time I've seen a 'wanted to buy' add editted. :( not like he's pawning anything on us, give the guy a break, I'm sure we have enough corollas around here to help this guy out if there is someone wanting to sell.
  17. again... it's been proven many times that Blue and Silver are fastest :P
  18. GREEN? :o :o :o :o any more info on this Dimmy? Sounds interesting.
  19. Pretty sure there was an inpromptu Twincam cruise on last night, going down RNP and the Seacliff It was an SRC cruise
  20. hmmmmmm i wonder who you're refering to vyets and by a lot how many do u mean ? :P :P :P :P bcuz i can count the f/i attempts on 1 hand That's funny Bill, cos I can count them on 1 finger... 1ZZ-FTE attempts however I now know of 4 and only 1 did not go to completion as far as S/C attempts go, there is Grimlocks one that ran nicely, but he wanted to sell the car so got rid of it. I don't know of anyone actually seriously looking at buying a Blitz or GReddy kits for the 2ZZ-GE to fit into the corolla.
