  1. why? when there are perfectly good and REASONABLY PRICED ke series rollas kicking around ;)
  2. R1Rs have been used as a wet tyre at the track ;)
  3. Exhaust, CAI & coilovers are the main ones, and all you really need to have a bit of fun. Like they said you don't need the exedy HD clutch, wait until the stock one dies 1st ;) Just get the clutch pivot point adjusted correctly by Toyota and it'll be fine
  4. that's what Fensport did for their 3SGTE corolla. I never said it couldn't be done, but the price wouldn't justify the result when there are perfectly reasonable STis and Evos out there.
  5. hey if he was on the site 2 weeks ago, I would have made a visit while I was over in Adelaide :D
  6. welcome I think I may have seen your car around
  7. searching for 'shifting issues' may have helped or any number of variations... 1 failed search, a complete search, it does not make ;)
  8. for starters... no 2ndly... no 3rdly... no ... ok seriously... forget the dreams you are having, the Rally corolla that Neil Bates drives (no corollas in the WRC) runs on a Celica ST205 chassis (that last celica GT4), not a corolla one, it just happens that the dimensions are similar enough that is works. as for the pics I'll run through them in order... #1 what's so strange about the exhaust mounts? #2 & 3 exhausts get hot, hence the gap, or else it would be your ***** in the seat getting hot and a possible fire hazzard #4 that the rearward jack point - read your manual ;) #5 yes, funny had the engineers designed it so well in order for you to have a huge amount on leg room in the rear isn't it ;) Please go back to reading Hot 4s or Autosalon Magazine and stop dreaming...
  9. if it were a 2ZZ head it would be a -GE anyway ;)
  10. quick and simple answer... no... the facelift bar is 1 piece and the grill cannot be removed
  11. found it ;) has to be bought through a NEWAYS distributor though :( pyramid sellers FTL
  12. You may need to grease the bearings around the pillow mounts. I've got the same issue, but can't get the top nut undone now to sort it out (too tight and can't be ****d taking them out as I just had a wheel alignment).

  15. this is actually old news (around 6 months) and on many other forums ;)
  16. Great News, it's in need of a resurface, especially the section from turn 2 to turn 4 (the uphill 'straight') and the exit from the elbow @ turn 8 going into turn 9 and onto the back straight. Hopefully they will continue with their 'speed off the street' days too.
  17. of course he shaves... how do you think he gets his scalp so smooth and shiny :)
  18. 26 actually according to the thingy at the bottom of the page well done mate, Happy Birthday :D
  19. the rule is - if the pod is in the engine bay it needs to be enclosed. The CAIs people are getting are positioning the pod outside of the engine bay and behind the bumper which I am lead to believe is perfectly legal.
  20. Gold and Bronze both rock!!!
  21. that I agree with ;) though I wouldn't call an AE86 sporty either...
