    no reply yet... just asking what info they had on the 'Fastest Corolla Sportivo in Australia' as I own a Corolla Sportivo as well and would like to know what they have done and what times the car has made...

    I'll scan the add tonight for you :) Greg, being up with the latest times is not the issue... As already stated, they have changed the Website to say it was the 2nd fastest 'at the time' after Dave beat it, so they already have prior knowledge of at least 1 faster car then Craigs. Since then there have been 4 more go faster. As they had prior knowledge of Daves car being faster, why would they advertise what they did... Hey, at least it got noticed though... what's the saying... any exposure is good exposure.

    I was quite serious Azza... no matter what truth in advertising they actually have, if they are serious about the Corolla, and improving them, maybe it's worth approaching them :)

    Perhaps FIST performance is a place worth pursuing for the QLD folk as that have 'Australias Fastest Corolla Sportivo'

    I'm not worried about if it is Craigs car or not... I'm more concerned about the fact they have advertised it quite proudly in a national and widely recognised magazine (in fact one of the best in the country) when it is a clearly false statement. I'll wait to hear from them to see how they back it up before I make any further statements.

    e-mail sent, but as they are a Brisbane performance and audio shop I was just wondering if they knew anything about it. I checked their website and all I could find was an old pic of Craigs old car. http://www.fistaudio.com/fast.html about 1/2 way down the page with a chick on the bonnet.

    I was flicking through the latest ZOOM magazine tonight and came across a curious add on page 46. I saw a pick of a Corolla 2ZZ-GE engine bay with TRD CAI... FIST Performance apparently have Australia's fastest Corolla Sportivo??? Can any of the Queensland guys get a bit more info about this car?

    I'll just point out, the business Bill bought the turbo from (as well as some other bits and pieces) is also one of the places I approached as I too have purchased several items from them and I rate their service very highly. However they are a Nissan specialist, even though they also offer a few Toyota bits too, and their argument is very similar to what Bill said. The market just isn't there... though they do like what I have done to my car :D

    I have also approached a couple of places local to the NSW people, but the volume of sales that would come from our site is not huge, there is not a great market for modified Corolla bits, just ask the guys at Ignition X, sure they get a few sales, but nothing compared to the Honda, Nissan, Subaru type places.

    i got Yokohama C drives 205/50/16 put on my stivo rims for $189 a tyre at bob jane t mart in hornsby that's what I mean... they don't come in 195/55r16

    clutch costs ~$350 if you shop around, should be able to get it installed for around $300 if you shop around... Jason it correct, that 1 expensive clutch job...
