  1. I might not be able to make it, could have something else on... will no closer to the date.
  2. For modified toyotas ZOOM is one of the best and gives a more technical overview as opposed to the Bling that other magazines promote. I suggest you buy a few and work out which one caters for your style the most. Personally I like ZOOM and High Performance Imports. Autosalon occasionally does good technical features but the knowledge of the writers is not as good as ZOOM. Hot 4s and Rotaries, Fast Fours, etc may also suit you, but most of they time they just talk crap.
  3. get coilovers I'm currently running 215/45r17 which everyone assured me scrub to buggery, but I have no issues at all and I've pushed the car hard through some round abouts to check. I have 1-1.5 finger spacing between the tyre edge and the guards on every corner.
  4. ..... **quietly awaits Jimmy saying something about knob sizes** .....
  5. simple solution... don't do anything wrong and you won't be hastled ;) Don't speed...? Don't worry!!! ;)
  6. hmmm, interesting... I wonder how much they will budge on 3 quarts of Redline Super Lightweight, Motul RBF-600 brake fluid and an Apexi Filter? May be worth asking if they would consider sponsorship like CES too ;)
  7. I got the steel top one, it broke the bank at a whole $4 more at $39.99 :( The Autobarn I went to only had the plastic top one in 4 inch clamp, not 3 inch.
  8. I'm with http://www.iinet.com.au on their lowest 512kbps option
  9. Oh it's an add... yeah I have add-blocker installed ;)
  10. you lazy bum!!! come here and fix my damn computer :P
  11. WOOO HOOO it's alive... alive a tell you!!!
  12. no you don't. They have loaner bikes for those that don't own one yet :) kind of like a try before you buy scheme, if you suck and you hate it, you're not stuck with the POS bike.
  13. FYI, Hyundai have the lowest return for repair rate of any car builder so I wouldn't go bagging their quality.
  14. Why? it's a great thread :)
  15. How did I not see this before... Phil you are a king amongst men!!!
  16. no, that's just the way the gearbox is. You can try changing the gear oil to Redline Super Lightweight Shockproof but it's expensive. Damn... That sucks :( How much would enough of that oil cost??? Ballpark figure is ok... looking at ~$100-120
  17. new season of Drawn Together rocks!!!! :D
  18. there's a picture there? I just see the logo.
  19. no, that's just the way the gearbox is. You can try changing the gear oil to Redline Super Lightweight Shockproof but it's expensive.
  20. It'll only ever use 1/2 the tacho anyway :P
  21. road dust, grease and grime... same as what's on the other hoses and insulation. the plastic gets hot, it softens, the grime beds in, you cannot wash it off easily.
  22. they always say that to try and get an extra $150 out of you for an 'injector flush' which for them is to add a bottle of stuff to your fuel. A proper EFI service centre can do a proper flush for you at a much better rate ;)
  23. That's the one that was for sale through Wollongong Toyota then went to auction because it didn't sell (they wanted ~$40k for it) no doubt it was picked up there ;)
