  1. and yay for 'hitting lift in 4th' ummm... 4th is one of the simplest lift changes of all. Should drop in @ ~6500 RPM if he shifted correctly.
  2. these 2 statements contridict each other... I'm just confused as to what he as ACTUALLY done... EDIT: alright I worked it out, he SOMEHOW, managed to retune the standard ECU after the recall. Can this be done, I though the MAPs were set? Modified throttle body, I heard of people do that for not much gain at all. Modified inlet manifold? What part did he modify? Plenum? runners? has he gone to quad throttle bodies?
  3. There are other cases available, there are several places that sell them, a few have the ZOOMPC case too. The downside I see with the ZOOMPC is that you need to remotly locate a CD/DVD drive as it has no internal space for one. But the unit is extremely light and a very robust well ventilated fanless design for silent running. I've got some info at home that I'll post up this arvo for you :)
  4. hmmmmmmm above the table hey... Table dancers sound good then :P Those tabels with the poles in them are even better ;) nice work Rob :D hopefully a bit of Dutch courage will be a great starting point Welcome Michael... don't worry, Azza and Silvabullet are older ;)
  5. OK guys this is 2 weeks away... how many people want to head down to show their cars? Remember - this is not a TOYMODS only event, this is a TOYMODS sanctioned TOYOTA event and the biggest one of the year!!!!!! Let's get a group of nice late model rollas out there to show what can be done. As well as the Show and Shine there is a Dinner on the Monday and a Drag night at WSID on Wednesday after the event. In order to get all the like cars together more easilly they would like them to arrive as a group. I suggest that we meet as a group at Homebush P6 at 7:45-8:00am SHARP (yes it's an early one) and drive around there together (it's only 5-10 minutes down Parramatta Road) that's Sunday October 1st 7:45 to 8:00am SHARP Homebush P6 - just off Australia Avenue It would be good to get a few of us out there. Your car doesn't have to be Autosalon style modded to enter, infact something mild and tasteful like Pete's Red Head-turner would be great.
  6. the car looks great Aim's... was great to finally see it in person :)
  7. Please Bec... if you are getting rims... don't get white ones... sorry Mish, I'm not a fan of the white on white look, plus they are a poin to keep clean from brake dust. Shadow Chrome would look great
  8. so why didn't I? And why was Craig a Silver member until last night too despite having joined 3 months before either of us!!! EDIT: my mistake... I did get notified just wonderring if there were re-subsctiption gifts or bonusses? I mean, we got stickers 1st year... what about 2nd year?
  9. Only for larger rotors as far as I'm aware. I've been informed that a few people on Toymods have done the single to twin conversion on ST162, ST182 celicas fo not much noticable gain. I'm going to do the discs/pads and fluid and reasses once the pads wear out a bit if the single to double comversion would be worthwhile. (gives me plenty of time to shop in the meantime). If you can find some for a reasonable price a ST205 disc and 4-pistion caliper conversion would be VERY worthwhile. (would require engineering)
  10. I'm 28 as od a few weeks ago...
  11. this post shows Sept 19... if silver memberships are for 1 year then both myself and Brandon have a few days left :P (I notice Brandon has lost his banner too) I also notice that Dan (KThaha) still has his Silver banner yet he joined months before me... did he renew? This is crap... I had no warning what so ever... I just logged in today and My inbox was full... yesterday I had 20% usage (200 pms)... I had to delete everything just to receive messages.
  12. ??????????? I thought I was a silver member?
  13. ~$45 off the top of my head and as rollamods said, it's all on the RTA website if you look ;)
  14. You actually need a 'blue slip' to register a vehicle from interstate.
  15. ST202 Celica ones should fit too. I'll measure up the bolts tonight and see.
  16. That's exactly what I was thinking, the ST165/ST185 Hybrid ones look like they may fit with some modification. What are the ones that you have JP?
  17. had a guy on Toymods link me to this, which is a good reference of what calipers are from where... http://www.target-earth.net/brakes.html?meid=87 not sure what the initial reference car they are talking about is but the measurements are useful :) does anyone know what the piston areas for the respective corolla calipers are?
  18. Also looking into this, but for guages, not a head unit. And yes, there is cutting involved... :(
  19. I downloaded the document 3 times... numbers mean jack... I hate to say it, but may be better to postpone until we can secure the numbers. :(
