i found i got alot of spam from people pretending to be from ebay asking me to log in because an item ive listed has been removed pending some violation funny thing was i didnt have anything listed..................... had my ebay account hacked well at least they tried i got an alert as to some sus activity and sorted it out real quick basically i dont even use ebay no more cause of all the spam/scam mail i got from just dealing with people who i thought were genuine buyers. but really if you look at these scams theyre so poorly strung together anyone with half a brain would see through them especially if the bank constantly reminds you they will never ask your details via email. but still there are some people who fall for them...............why i dont know if something seems too good to be true it most likely is

gaaaaaaaaaa ok well how do they look to start are they burnt out? i think your point gap is about 1.5 mm for points open position kinda hard for me seeing as the last car i did points on was 2006 im guessing youve checked that the leads are sending the spark to the plugs and stuff you may also want to check the dizzy is spinning with the motor just in case the cam belt is gone another one is the ballast resistor the white block on the side of the coil if all else fails try bypassing that with a really thick piece of wire and see if it runs then

doing up a corolla 2000 ascent sedan
T.J replied to 2000rolla's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
pffft! yeah we get the solid beam rear ends wtf is with that? thats what let the model down in the reviews the fact they cheaped out on the suspension. definate dumpage must happen with your sedan and a set of 18s will give you all the cred you need -
yeh what they said id be more worried in that case bout loosin my licence or writing the car off i have so much on im late most of the time but speeding wont get me there faster so i just cruise along and curse to myself

HELP me choose which corolla to get!!!!
T.J replied to corn-rolla101's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
torque hole? my *** theres a hole on my torque!!!!!! nah seriously the ecu upgrade was to to with noise polution versus power output apparently it didnt meet epa standards so we were told when we did the recalls on them. dont go anything bigger than 18's if you have to go bigger than stock youll still be legal then. basically my 03 seems a bit laggy under accelleration under 4000 then around 5000 it starts to get moving come 6200 i find myself being pushed back into the seat and milliseconds later im changing gears lift goes by quick in the lower gears but **** it sounds awesome off rock walls down the gorge lol! only mod ive done to the motor besides ditching the engine cover is a k&n panel filter -
modulator valve? ahhh see nobody mentioned it was auto modulator valves on some auto's are vaccume operated if say the modulator has a hole in the diapram (i know thats not how you spell it im lisdexic ok) tranny oil is getting sucked through the modulator valve into the motor and being burnt VIOLA! blue/white smoke there then will be a hose running from the mainfold to the auto unplug it from the manifold and if theres browny red oil comming out of it the modulator valve is stuffed

levin and sportivo are the ones with abs levin is your best bet if you want an auto theres so many places you could look to find what your after try tradingpost

JUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK IIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT! meh id say for sure burning oil all that pipe you mentioned does is feed crankcase vapours into the carby to reburn when you get blowby you get more pressure buildup in the crankcase which will force some oil out plus other worn out parts let oil into the cylinders and you get your smoke yada yada world goes round the coolant pipe could just be leaking cause it needs a new gasget or the pipe has corroded away and needs replacing which is normal but hey no reason you couldnt just 20v it instead lol!

hey bill why not get an mr2 steerin wheel with the up/down shift buttons somebodys got one on their stivo (cant remember who now) you could hook the boost controller up to that i dunno just a suggestion. i would love to get a s/c on my car just for a bit more pull out of the corners but theyll be so far out of production by the time i can afford it i wont get one anyway -
yeah id listen to bill.................he knows his **** his stivo is a testimate to that. unless you know a toyota tekkie who can hook IT up to your car and get the code and then translate what it relates to so you can figure out where the issue is id take it out and try the PFC youll be better off but then if you dont want our advice thats cool too

Mmyes... I still had to laugh at these guys who complimented my car and thought it was a Focus. Noobs. It may be debadged but it still has a toyota emblem on the back (the only badge on it now mind you) yup youd have to have a keen eye to pick mines no ascent only give away is the mesh panels in the skirt kit i just learnt one of my fellow drivers (he drives a commo too lol!) tried to race an undercover ss the same one i warned him about was doing the rounds in our area............another case study for my theory lol!

pay as much as you can up front itll keep your payments low also helps with your rappor with the bank for later purchases ie house or houses if i had kept my cressida as pimpin as it was i couldnt drive the freakin thing more than half an hour before it got too hot to drive the amount of times it stopped dead in traffic either from the motor seizing or the efi fuse blowing was so stupid im glad i paid my car off fast cause no way could i handle 2 mortgages and car payments especially not now

so what i gather is youve changed your spark plug tube seals n now it wont start again correct???? the stuff comming out of the plug tube could be oil that got into the cylinders when you changed the seals hence all the crud comming out the tube. if this is the case take out all the plugs and throw a heavy rag over where the open spark plug tubes are so you dont blow crap everywhere then crank the motor for a bit to clear the cylinders. clean the plugs at both ends with carby cleaner and make sure your leads are clean and free of oil put the plugs in and leads on crank over again but keep your foot on the accellerator at wide open throttle till it starts to run on its own then back off give it a few revs to clear the splutters then take it for a drive to burn off the remaining oil. either that or you got spark/fuel issues or maybe the timing belt gave out due to something on the timing case not being put back right

i got one it happened last week i was on a delivery (yeah im a pizza man) i pulled up at the lights to turn right at mt colah where dominos is and these twits in a vz commo pulls up next to me and all start hangin out the windows with their shirts off swinging them around all screaming whooooooooo! i ignored them at first then calmly turned and faced the driver gave him the finger as the light went green i calmly turned right keep it cool boyz lol! anyway the dumbass p plater boots off like a hero. saw another acco on the same corner the other night a hyundai accent turbo got nailed cause he turned right in front of traffic and wasnt fast enough probably wanted to show off to his mates his wussy chicks car was more powerful than the pathetic little bonnet scoop made it out to be long story short one of em went to hospital in an ambo the driver got a neg driving fine and couldnt drive home after he was brought back by the cops from being charged cause the suspension damage from the impact lol! just when we thought there was a pattern with commodores and low iq's

all i ever had was old cars ranging from a 79 corona to an 1990 sx and finishing with a 85 cressy all up about 10 cars and they all were relitively unreliable mainly the ones that werent toyotas were worse your better off getting as new a car as possible with the lowest klms possible for your price range of 7 grand youll pick up a relitively good ae101 if your planning to lob another 15k on top of that youll get yourself a nice stivo with change left over just be carefull when choosing make sure you get it checked out of all the years ive been buyng cars ive seen some shockers!

LOL DONT SAY THAT; I BOUGHT MY STIVO ON EBAY LOLOL for 17k man freaken BARGAIN Thats not a bargain... most of them sell for much less than that now. And I paid 11k for mine almost 3 yrs ago, now thats a bargain. LMFAO oh okay then; mines not a bargain =( i full thought i got it cheap and all LOL since every other stivo i saw was selling for like 20ishK aish thats a bargain compaired to me paying 21k for mine over a year ago got desperate after loosin my job so i tried sellin it but the fact it keeps getting broken into and run into means its loosing value faster than the asx on a bad day last time i listed it i got such a dismal offering on it i decided to just keep it and ride things out till i can get a ridiculously high paying job and turn things around something like a traffic controll job $30 an hour to turn a sign versus $20 an hour as a mechanic and people wonder why the motor trade is suffering a skills shortage just call me lollypop man
