T.J replied to aznpsuazn's topic in General Toyota & Other Car Discussions
dude i feel your pain it was over 2 years ago my sx was stolen i put hours into it and it killed me when it happened even worse when it was recovered funnilly enough in a back street in bankstown completely stripped anyway a massive battle with the insurance company ensued but thats another story. not meaning to sound negative but id say its gone by now bro if its like anything that happened to me id be scouring the streets around the bankstown area to see if its not already stripped and rolled back out on the street. ma61ck your a tool ***** if you put so much time and effort into something and some ***** basically destroyed it youd be upset about it too take your big v8 and cram it up your **** with wallnuts buddy had you ever told me that my car was a POS id be likely to hit you stupid hillbilly -
saw a red ascent that parked next to me this morning in parra westfield had the same style rims i wanted to get for my car also saw a white sedan with a bodykit like tayles's

WILL THE 3SGTE BOLT UP TO SPORTIVO 6 SPEED
T.J replied to buzziesportivo's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
Bah Rob, i've told you many times, Neal Bates Automotive wont help you with road car engine transplants. You ruined it. You idiot. I wanted him to call them lol! it all sounds like something that is allowable but for the cash youll be throwing at it for the conversion you could probably get a similar result working with whats already there im sure after screwing about getting it in engineered and everything else youd have to upgrade for it all to be legal bill would still most likely stomp it into the ground -
WILL THE 3SGTE BOLT UP TO SPORTIVO 6 SPEED
T.J replied to buzziesportivo's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
hmmm first up good to see you got a concise answer from the rta even better if the motor you have to use is the caldina 3sgte theyve got a bit more powa!! so ive heard i doubt id bother using the stivo gearbox the close ratio's probably wouldnt be suited to a turbo spose just using the 3sge box would be substantial -
ive got it apart atm and the plastic panel is one layer it cant be separated and i cant get the needles off so im not going to screw around with it anymore not like the old days when all it was was a green condom over a light globe lol! oh well ill have to find something else to fiddle with got some stainless steel downstairs might knock up a new engine cover lol!
-
i thought that but i wanted at the same time do every light in the dash the same colour to match anyway ill just put the damn thing back in and forget about it
-
i pulled out my instrument cluster cause i wanted to look into changing the red led's to blue ones. But as soon as i pulled it apart i realised the red is actually on the panel with the numbers and dials which sucks cause i was in the middle of doing a how to change guide for everyone and it leads me to belive the back lighting for the panel may actually be white and if i changed the led's ill end up with purple dials. basically im just posting up my attempt and failure so nobody makes the same mistake lol!

Radio in Toyota Starlet 1.3 Friend
T.J replied to Nina's topic in General Toyota & Other Car Discussions
it sounds like the previous owner took out the radio possibly it could have had a sound system in it before so they may also have taken the speakers out too but in the door those vents will most likely be speaker grills especially if their towards the bottom and towards the front of the car cause thats where they normally put them for your rear speakers they should be found by looking in the boot where the trims the parcel shelf rests on there will be vent looking things in the trim there and thats where your rear speakers should be if it has them you can pick up a new head unit cheap these days i would suggest pioneer or clarion or even kenwood just dont get a cheap supercheap no name special but ill leave that up to you hope this help you out -
Need advice - new rims or lower the car or both??
T.J replied to MzZ Sportivo's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
im on 17's and dropped 25 mm it looks reasonable but id rather go 50mm i need new rims seeing as the missus just guttered one of them -
huh i never knew luke's crown got pinched then again i dont look on those forums anymore........i lost the adress. yeah it is good to think that if something happens youve got a better chance of getting it back that way rather than waiting for the authorities to stumble apon it which by then is usually too late as it was for my old ae92
-
I love that. it's my favourite! not many people know the key combo to change it back. ahahahaha hehehe i did that the day i quit nissan to the workshop computers apparently they had to get an it guy out to put them right! my prank is to bluetooth my phone to my laptop when the missus is using it and start clicking on random things
-

There's no such thing as a 2.0L 4AGE, all 4As are 1.6L and no A-series engine was released larger than 1.8L (the 7AFE). You may be getting confused with the 20V 4AGEs, which are still 1.6L, or the 2.0L 3SGE, none of which have 160kw (the RWD blacktop 3SGE BEAMS has 150-odd kw, but there is no way that it'd go into an AE92). It is possible that it is one of the above engines with a turbo added, but definitely not N/A, and definitely not a 2.0L 4A thankyou for that..... extremely detailed cry u had, lol does it look like i care, im just a p plater who wants more powr, doesnt matter neway. as far as i know there is a 2ltr 4age but ur prolly right, all i know is what i have been told, i know a bit about cars but hardly sh*t about the seca. another thing, how do you have a 20 valve 1.6l??? lol wot would that be, 5 valves per cyl? so thats 3 intake valves and 2 exhaust valves?? lol You asked for help, got it (and then some), and now you're whinging about it? Sounds like you're the one having the cry. You say that you don't care, and that you're just a P-plater who wants more power, yet you seemed to care a heck of a lot when I pointed out that this 2.0L 4A didn't exist. You say you don't know **** about the Seca, yet you complain when someone with more knowledge and experience corrects you. The reason why I pointed out the problem with your post is that it is better to find out now then go and buy something and either be ripped off (because it's not what you thought it was) or end up with a chunk of metal that is totally inappropriate to what you want (it was what you thought it was, but not what you thought you needed). In short, I corrected a mistake (or in this case, assumption/hearsay) to stop you getting burnt in the future. And as JP already pointed out, there is such a thing as a 20 valve 4A. There are two of them, in fact (silvertop and blacktop). And if you think I'm just having another detailed cry, then I don't care. You obviously don't care what we say, so don't expect too much help in the future. damn straight wtf is your deal you want help you get it but still carry on like a bi t ch no wonder somebody pushed your car down a hill your obviously a big time fool walk around all you want thinkin you know everything just dont be askin anymore help from us

T.J replied to Jaaassseeee's topic in General Toyota & Other Car Discussions
always report accidents to the police and your insurer right away as soon as possible ive had similar situations one where the guy simply drove off cause his car was fine i didnt pay a cent but then it wasnt my fault it all comes down to who reports it first
