Aurion carbon fibre vynl roof and bonnet opinions
Aurion ZR6 replied to Mattyb's topic in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club
Waiting to see one cool picture of your roof? Yesterday I saw a SX6 with the B-pillars & rear spoiler done, look really cool. I want to have a go at covering my console, as the paint is starting to look tried, then the silver parts in the dash then the silver parts in the doors. -

+1 for battery, mind use to take 2nd time to start, once replaced battery, start first go every time. Car 6 years old this November, changed battery 6 months ago, only 56,400 kms on clock. Might think about changing the fuel filter.

Last week I purchase a camera and cable to install in my Toyota Aurion ZR6 with navigation unit. (This will not work without this unit for those who might want to do this mod.) Anyway here some photo's of the installation. Very cheap mod, taken me 2 hours to install, if you have basic mechanic and soldering skill you can do this.

Will presara Sat Nav work in standard ZR6 ?
Aurion ZR6 replied to TRD468's topic in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club
Camera, you can see I when down the after market path, I soldered mind to plug F12 if you bother to look at my web site. If you when genuine Toyota I think it plugs into the passenger side kick panel somewhere not 100% sure I think someone here could confirm actual location of camera plug. Mic I don't have a clue of cost you will have to get a quote from Toyota or find a wrecker this might have this part in stock, also my car has a sunroof, so I don't have clue where the Mic goes on OEM roof, as my Mic is located before the sunroof in an plastic console, that holds lights, sunglasses, and controls to sunroof. I'm in Sydney Western Suburb if you need any help, my door is open, as I don't work, so I have plenty of time, an retired Electrician by trade. I also have Version 17 Whereis Map DVD if you want to purchase from me, this is the latest maps for this unit, for a fair price. -
Will presara Sat Nav work in standard ZR6 ?
Aurion ZR6 replied to TRD468's topic in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club
I have ZR6 with full Sat Nav, you're wasting your money as I don't use it at all, actually it is a pain in the axse. I also a Tomtom installed in car, which is use weekly, as it has speed camera, red light cameras, POI, etc. About the Mic I think it will need to wired in, as well as the reserving camera as mind didn't have anywhere to plug it in at rear of boot, so I just solder onto the rear plug at radio location. If you need know how I did it, you can see my installation here: http://aurioncamera.poirus.com.au/ cheers Drew -

All the best with the new box ScootA44. Anyway makes you wonder back in May, 2007 there where problems with the U660E box in the Lexus ES350, here the TSB notice below. How many people have had there ECU reflashed because of this problem, I have this problem in the morning when cold, but once warm up it runs fine. I like the bit at the bottom if not resolved, it should be replaced. LOL My car out of warranty, 2006 model. Good read up of the problem here: U660E problems Problem by build date It is noticed: "we already know the failure rate of 2nd transmissions is so high".

I'm not ready to purchase yet, as I've only done 45,000 kilometres, and will probably sell my car by then, to purchase the new 2012 model Aurion.

I did try making one but there were two problems. 1) I don't have decent software to make a diagram (don't know of any either), and 2) hand drawing it will be a mess (which I would understand, but others may not). Given the pin layout, I thought you of all people would be able to figure it out though. In that case, I will leave you with this. It is as far as I can get without making it messy: <<< DISCLAIMER: Following the below diagram is at your own discretion. I will not be held accountable for any damage done to your vehicle or property as a result of this modification >>> Relay 1: C1 - ABS ECU FR+ C2 - Speed Sensor RR+ C3 - Speed Sensor FR+ C4 - ABS ECU FR- C5 - Speed Sensor RR- C6 - Speed Sensor FR- Relay 2: C1 - ABS ECU FL+ C2 - Speed Sensor RL+ C3 - Speed Sensor FL+ C4 - ABS ECU FL- C5 - Speed Sensor RL- C6 - Speed Sensor FL- Thanks

What type of relay you're using? I assume you're switching from Relay 1 to Relay 2? Have you try this: Express PCB

Unfortunately you don't get the flexibility of being able to turn it back on. On a side note, I have now driven approximately 1000km with the traction control wired to be off. In that time I have covered various roads and spun my wheels heaps. So far there have been no error codes so this option is definitely a goer. Next step will be to see how it reacts to having it switch while the car is running. I will get to that another day though. Tomorrow I plan on helping some mates with the massive cleanup in the next suburb. Any chance of providing a wiring diagram of this mod, Please? Drew

http://www.mongoose.com.au/toyota/%27tes%27-remote-engine-start.aspx It is ashamed my car is "Smart Entry". For 2009 onwards 'TES' Toyota Remote Engine Start Manufactured exclusively for Toyota's CanBus equipped passenger vehicles, TES provides remote controlled engine starting. Cool down your cars interior in summer or warm it up in winter. Just press your Toyota remote buttons to start the engine before you enter the car. * Only operates on automatic gearbox vehicles. * Only operates on Toyotya Canbus equipped vehicles * Does not operate on Toyota vehicles with 'Smart' entry * Built-in safety - will not start unless gearbox is in park and handbrake is on. * Indicators flash whilst engine is running * Remote engine running can be cancelled by remote. http://www.mongoose.com.au/media/264694/toyotates.pdf
