  3. thats a hell of a long drive for me but worth it if others are interested... orrr would parramatta work for people?
  4. On another note, VIC and Brisbane groups are doing weekly / fortnightly meets, maybe we could make ours a more frequent event too..? Just an idea
  5. not much for me, i have worked at a few bike shops and such but now work at a sailing club driving boats - have been doing this for about a year now. i finished school in 2011, had a gap year and now in my first year at macquarie uni!
  6. farrr out, i cant make this one! gonna be spending the night with the girl and some mates Ill definitely be at the next one on 30.04.13 and may even have fixed up my car a little by then
  7. What does the K&N filter do differently to the standard one?? There are some pretty cool gear knobs floating around ebay, i would have a look there. and theres also the toyota TRD ones. K&N filters have better airflow to the engine increasing SOME power and better fuel consumption compared to the crappy thick cheap air filters you get from Supercheap. Plus they have lifetime warranty and you never have to change air filters again. I just bought one from ebay for 75 bucks coming from VIC in a few days. If you went somewhere local like Repco or something they'd charge you double that! I personally think a great air filter is essential for any car! filter sounds good, might do my car good when i upgrade the exhaust to do the filter too. would you be able to PM me the link for them? Thaaaanks :)

  14. Anyone know how they changed the front of this car (looks much darker around the number plate area) - is it a new bumper? Anything available similar for an 06 model? ...Or any other options? I would love to do something like this! Cheers, Sam
  15. hey unrelated to this post as i cant seem to PM you.. i was wondering about the front of your car - is that an after-market bumper? (it looks darker and different around the numberplate area).. would be interested in doing something similar to my 06 model. Cheers
  16. get a freeflow exhaust system - it increases the power and efficiency of the car

  18. lol unfortunately 90% of Newcastle people drive Bommodores or Falcons Good old Bogan Chariots... so thank god we drive the most common car on the road..!! haha
  19. Hey mate, im in the same sort of position as you here - looking to man up the ol corolla! Ive got pretty good tinting on my windows which is cool but once i finish uni i may get a new muffler or something a bit more pricey. But since you've taken off the racks (and dont seem to have use for them..) i was wondering if you would consider selling them - i am in need.. Nice car by the way, hope you get a lot of good use from it ;)
  20. Hey guys, I own a 2006 Toyota Corolla. I bought my car last July and until March this year have done roughly 14,000 kms. I have driven up the coast from Sydney (where I live) to Cairns and on to Cooktown and back again during the second half of last year. I was up in Cairns living and working in an Indigenous School which is the reason I was up there in the first place. The car has roughly 152,200 kms on it now and I am looking at possibly getting some performance modifications sometime in the future. It currently is stock. I would be looking at a new muffler system and wheels, but havent really researched what I would do yet - gotta save up first! I am also a massive TopGear fan, and went to the festival out at Eastern Creek Raceway yesterday (10.3.2013). Was a great day but annoyed Hammond wasnt there!
