  1. Any idea on when the meet might be? I'm keen :P
  2. I'd be heading straight over to trd sparks (google them) you won't be able to really find anything locally. Also fyi if you go down the foglight router it's quite expensive for OEM ones as you require the harness and new lower grill for it too :) best to hit up Cductn for ideas on parts and costs.

    servicing

It is quite interesting when some European cars are every 12months or 10-15,000 km's but oh well it's cheap on parts in any case

    Nets Rukus

PS totally want your plates :P love the Rukus, 20's shouldn't be too hard to fit under lowered springs, although eventually some day soon you might wants bags or coilovers :P

    Fuel economy

Wow I do Sydney Traffic stop and start and well have a heavy foot, I usually average 380-400km's per tank O.o
  15. Does anyone know where the tappets are coming from? I can't say I have actually heard them before? I do get creaking noises when I have to go up driveways at an angle and such from around the pillar area but I figure that to be the chasis twisting due to the firm suspension (tends to always be on 3 wheels going up driveways)
  16. Nice wheels :) Just needs to be a bit lower
  17. I only heard about his passing this morning :( and I only saw him 2months ago where he helped me detail my car. I'm still in shock to be honest, such a friendly guy always willing to lend a helping hand and have a good laugh. I'll never forget the cruises we had and the laughs all around You will be missed Big Pete Condolences to your dearest and closest I will definately be interested in taking part of a celebration of his life
  18. Hey All Sorry I dropped off the radar for a bit and couldn't make it to the last monthly meet, I had a pretty bad health scare on the morning of the last monthly meet so was out of action for a bit. I'm up for a monthly meet (would prefer a cruise) on either the 18th or 25th of Jan if anyone is interested? Once again sorry for not making it last time :(
  19. Me and a mate, 1 afternoon and $1200 I got a clarion double din (no gps which doesnt bother me), door speakers, tweeters, monoblock amp and sub/box with wiring kit. The deck itself wasn't that difficult to wire up nor was the monoblock/ sub. If you can visit a dedicated audio place to see if they have adapters that will fit the back of your new intended deck and the stock toyota wiring (saves a lot more time), otherwise you can go down the route me and my mate did by getting a wiring diagram off a scion xb from the states and twist tieing everything to make sure it works then twist, solder and heatshrink, I personally haven't done much soldering in the past but to be honest it's not that hard just tedious and definately helps to have some spare hands. Also the deck itself in the rukus is super easy to remove, you just gently pry at the plastic surround that has the air vents on them, it'll pop off and you'll see 4 bolts holding it in place. In regards to the monoblock and sub, I prefer to not have the amp in the boot so I ran it under the drivers seat, the passanger side has some weird metal bracket underneath it that I don't know what it's for so I just left it as is, best to take out the drivers seat (be careful not to scratch interior parts like I did :(), best thing of all is when you remove in the drivers side footwell the door trim plasting and plastic next to the pedals there's pre-existing wiring clips for other electronics in the rear so it's super easy to run :) for refernce, below is just a description of the wire colors if you're interested: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207465 and this is how to remove the dash piece to access the head unit: http://trdsparks.com/install/PTS20-52080inst.pdf Goodluck and post picks :)
