Has anyone used one of the aftermarket fascia panels (like the one at the link below) for a double din installation? Ebay Fascia I am looking to upgrade the headunit to an aftermarket full screen model (I am a bit reluctant to drop the $3-$4k for a Toyota model) but I don't like the wings. I was wanting to know if anyone has had any success or otherwise (I have heard some of the ZZE were shockers) with the aftermarket panels for the ZRE. So far I have only been able to find them overseas on ebay and so can not get an idea on how well they fit and match for colour.

You are not alone, we usually just check the vehicle after we have locked it and see if there is anything on

We have had what is known as a CRAB bar installed to provde anchorage points for the third row. Though I am in NSW and the rules may be different contact your equivalent of the Roads and Traffic Authority and they should be ablr to advise you where your nearest authorised fitting centre is and they should be able to install the bar

Thanks, I am using the 25foot 2inch rule (doesn't quite sound as good in metric 7.5m 52mm). "25feet from the wall top line of light should be 2inch below the height of middle of the headlight." I found with quite a bit of turning of the screw it did make some difference but then stopped making any difference at all. I will try new globes though the light is strong they may be poor quality in how they throw the light.

Can anyone help me? I am trying to adjust the headlights on my mother in-laws Camry I think it is around 1995 vintage as their angle is way too low. There appears to be an adjustment screw on the outboard side of the top of each headlight but I do not get enough adjustment from this, are there any other adjustment points?

TMS shut down their site a while ago shortly after they pulled out of F1 and I have noticed the Toyota UK and Toyota Europe sites no longer show the TTE / TMS / TF1 parts. I have attached the brochure from the pre-facelift Auris for your info and a price list of the full range of accessories they used to offer The pricing is in pounds and is old (they may have corredted the price on the steering wheel by now. Contact Lindop Motors in the UK for parts they are well priced and very reliable, bought all my European parts from them. auris accessories.pdf TF1_Auris E15.pdf Found it http://www.toyota-europe.com/cars/new_cars/auris/accessories.aspx -

Have a look at a cargo net either from the likes of Super cheap or one of the overseas Toyota dealers with a simlar sized model. I use a net in my Corolla (from Toyota UK as all the after market stuff here is for larger cars) for my boots and laptop as I had a similar problem http://www.toyota-europe.com/cars/new_cars/avensis/accessories.aspx Net from the Avensis may suit There did used to be a divider system available but I could not find it right now -

How much have you spent on modding?
jps137 replied to P_T's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
Probably just under $10,000 and that is not including wheels yet (or counting tyres) Big $ items were Leather interior $2000 TRD Sports Muffler approx $900 JDM Blue (rain repellant) Mirrors approx. $300 TRD Suspension (Shocks, Springs and Swaybar) $2500 (from memory) Toyota MotorSport Steering Wheel $500 Toyota Follow Me II Sat Nav (with i-pod bits and travel pack to use in wife's Camry) $1800 Alpine Type R Speakers $550 A/c to rear dash vent (on current LevinZR) $385 The rest is made up of alot of $100 items Disturbingly the Tarago bill is even higher If you want to really scare someone ask Juvenille how much he has spent -
What did you do to your car today?

Had a set of Alpine Type R 6.5 splits installed in the front and a set of Alpine 6.5 coax installed in the rear of the Corolla. Have the two sets of Alpine Type R 6x9's to go into the Camry but they are still sitting in the boot, haven't got around to installing them yet. Still trying to work out what to use in the front of the Tarago - 6.5 splits or 6x9 coax. If I go for the splits will either use the JDM premium system grills for the tweeters or go for the JDM Alpine pillar mounts for them -
Does anyone have any information about the JDM 11 speaker option for the current Tarago/Estima? In particular I was after a wiring diagram, the 6 speaker system we get here has the 2 roof mounted speakers (located between rows 1 and 2) connected to the rear sound. I am considering adding the second set of roof mounted speakers (located approximately between the 2nd and 3rd rows) and was wanting to know how they are wired in (do they use the sound from the front?)

Thanks but I already have a Follow Me II system in the Corolla with the optional USB connection and find it annoying that it has to search the USB drive each start up which takes a few minutes for 4Gb. I was looking for something that would just play first time straight away.

Unfortunately TOM'S slection of gear for the Auris is quite a strange range consisting of some bracing, a selection of brake pads, a fancy aerial and a few other pieces but no body kit http://www.tomsracing.co.jp/products/car/typedetailseng.php?carID=1115&typeID=2125 and for some unknown reason the suspension kit and exhaust are shown on the UK distributors site but not on TOM'S http://prolex-uk.com/store/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=auris&search_in_description=1&x=7&y=10 -
