  2. Why dont you just drive your car to Sydney its only a 9hr trip and at least this way you know your car makes it in one piece. The company is paying for it... also my car is very low so i wont try to risk my car over the long freeway.
  3. Hmm, I think I m more worried getting my car in sydney first. Once I have a car, I can go and find the places.
  4. So can anyone help me? Does anyone know any real estate ppl?
  5. R u Fxxking serious? 20 mins to travel one suburb? ****.... So Homebush bay may be too far then.... I m working at Artamon, st leonards and chatswood would be ideal but by the time if i find one with the carpark will cost me $450 a week! What about Hornsby or waitara, is there traffic going to artamon?
  6. I am looking at coming up on the 1-2 nd wj of sept. The work place is at Artamon, they have a carpark so I prefer driving to work. I am looking at 350-400 per week max for a apartment. Been looking at St leonards, - too expensive north sydney - too old homebush bay - ideal price - not too far meadowbank or north ryde Hornsby or waitara - thinking abt that - not too pricy parramatta - maybe too far! Guess theres no point ringing the agents yet as they rented out very quickly. I will have 2 months of temp accomodation - properly serviced apartments provided by the company to look for place. Also dont sure when I can ship my car up here.... Hopefully I can get my car up here ASAP.

  11. Hi Guys, Do we have a facebook group for TOCAU? Guess it would be good.!
  12. Well, just wanna comment that the true gain on exhaust requires a smooth flow throughout the system, so you realli need to get the headers too in order have that gain. This is general thought on theory. Also different car will get a slight different output as each car is built differently with different quality of parts. Well, I know cos I work at the car manufacturing here at engineering centre. Each car tends to vary from different batch.
  13. One other thing... I can guarantee you that the stock header design is better than most aftermarket tuners. Becos oEM manufacturers they spend millions on tooling/design for tuning. Only reason y they stock headers have less power is due to cheap manufacture cost to maintain cheap cost per car.
  14. If you compare the CES headers and TRD Headers, they are both 4-2-1. TRD headers requires you to get the high compression kit in order to max your gain from it. I work at the engineering auto industry.. The engineers (at my work place) told me that the design of the OEM headers are using quite ok, but due to cheap manufacture cost they are not polished (machine made) and have many rough edges on it. That y all the expensive cars most engines are hand built - like ferrari, M3 engines, Corvette ZR6 engines - same concept. Port and polish on stock headers allows you to get the cheapest gain bang for ur buck. The CES headers are ported quite well. Dont forget its only a pienece of steel, so any aussie exhaust ppl that have a good set of hands can port the headers well. Is it worth spending 3 x on TRD, well I dont think so.
  15. I'll try to come too and enjoy my car b4 i consider selling it off later this yr
  16. Guys I been busy with work and other stuff recently. I might able to turn up finally after few months. Maybe my last chance b4 I sell my car, not sure atm.

  19. well is anyone driving up to brisbane? I m thinking too? cos i wanna go to sydney, depending on my work...
  20. I bought them from Hong Kong, it cost me around $110 bucks. ok ill book a trip to hong kong for the pads. anyone know when the next flight is? I also bought the TRD thermostats, radiator cap, pads, spark plugs all up $270.
  21. Well setting do u need to change? Will unichips do the job?
  22. Gents, I know this question has been discussed b4, but I realli want someone who has experience on ECU upgrade. Now finally after all I have purchased all the chassis upgrade, its time for me to gain some power. atm i have CES xhaust and extractors and also the Blitz intake. I realised that the blitz sucks too much air and so I feel like losing a bit of power after 6rpm. Can ECU upgrade maximise the gain on my intake and exhaust? at this point i can only feel the the CES extractor is giving me much smoother power before VVTIL kicks but it feels like its slower even the exhaust been put in. I ring unichips, i know they provide the cheapest tune available but ppl said that with these piggyback systems, the stock ECU can return back to stock settings after sometime. Is this true? Others been discussing Greddy unit? Motec sounds out of my budget ..... so what can I do? approx i dont mind spend 2 k on it, please advice
