  1. Hi xoom, I take your words then, i will wait until the clucth needs replacement and I will get the flywheel and clutch together. Would you recommend the daikin/exedy clucth over the trd, cos it will be cheaper? I hope i can save up ASAP then, it just i only had my sportivo less than 9 months and I already spent too much on car audio. So i need to do stage by stage
  2. Hi Sugizo, If you r from Hong Kong, just get the Sept 2007 issue of option fans. They are probably up to Oct issue by now, but you should be able to get one copy over there. And also, can you make some enquiries about it? Whether it will create any issues with the ZZE123 here in Aus? in terms of fitting?
  3. Here is Blitz sonic power, sound very sound while its in lift!
  4. My mechanic also said the gearbox is pretty **** also. he said the engine is fine but only worry about the gearbox when having a supercharge on it since the power and toque has been increased significantly. zoom, did you upgrade your gearbox?
  5. Thats true, no one is doing anything about it except you turbo the car. While when I had my pulsar SSS and i was in the pulsar.org forum and club, they had so many turbo pulsar conversion done there. But many of the conversion were done when the car had done many k's on it Since the sportivo is only within 4 year period, we will probably wait and see what happens.
  6. Guys, I saw that this civic cuts at 7500rpm, doesnt look like its a B16A engine. Our sportivo lift noise should be much louder than this!!!
  7. Hi xoom, I am only sharing what I found on a magazine, so I am not saying that the supercharge kit is better or worst. Option fans magazine is like the Hots 4 magazine in hong Kong. So it is official. But I guess we need someone who is actually installing one!!! They also mention a fair comment that the supercharge kit against the turbo kit. 1. If you want more power, supercharge kit may not provide the bang for your buck. 2. But it uses less fuel then turbo kits and you can get more life on th engine than turbo kits (hmm not sure?) So it really depends on the peron how far you want to car to go to.
  8. Hey mate, stop by Hong Kong, thats where they get the jap stuff first. Read my blitz supercharge thread. I can get you the place that they have the supercharge kit and you can helpus enquire about it
  9. HI Guys, I found a 8 page report on the Blitz supercharge kit that was installed on the 2001 Toyota Fielder with all the pictures and 20 brief steps instructions The car had many mods with it also. But based on the report the supercharge kit comes with all the ingredients to relocated all components as said before. Not sure if it comes standard, but they also mention the intercooler and the rampod LM kit. It also mention it comes with a new timing belt, radiator etc.... The magazine also mention that the kit also follows the similar install methods as the echo and altezza supercharge kit. I asked my mechanic he has made inquires before for another client and said it is available to purchase from Hong Kong. The kit should cost around $4000-$4500 Shipping should cost around $500-$800 and labour is $1000, overall $6000-$7000 range Since the supercharge kit only focus on the intake rather than exhaust. The standard exhaust will work. He mention about that the altezza kit blitz offer a ECU swap, they can tune the ECU based on your car modification and you return your standard one(optional) Guys think about this, I have worked out against doing N/A mod. Spending money of extractors, exhaust and unichip on N/A mod already set u back approx $3000. Maybe the blitz option is the idea option we should think about!!!!! and keep our standard exhaust system and make our car under the radar and you can always change the exhaust system later to gain more performance!!! I already have this kit in mind, but i m short of budget as I have been spending too much on car audio. Damn shouldnt get audio gear, then i would have the money!!! Guys, if you are interested, I can scan the reports, but its all in chinese!!!!
  10. Hi Guys stop aruguing. Ive been told by my mechanic that many of his clients who got sportivos or celica that the gearbox is preety unrealiable. So dont jum any gears, it will stuff the syncros
  11. i dont trust those guys doing my install.. coz the last time westside did mine.. i had to take them.. apart so i could eliminate engine noise n stuff like that.. and yeh.. parts all up is around 80 - 90 bucks.. the guy was willing to sell me the parts :P but not willing to sell me their service! FUNNY GUY! :P The place I had my car done, they did the alpine show cars and also I see them doing some work on pre-delivered audi and VW cars, probably doing some dealer fitted stuff. SO I guess they are pros. You just gotta go to right place
  12. Guys, please keep me informed if someone going to do it in Aus. Cos I will get it since i already spent more than 4 grand on stereo, I might go for the full lot. What the heck, end up spending more than buying a turbo hatch!!! If so I might hold back my exhaust... Dont know yet, whatever comes first.
  13. Hi Guys, Just wonder, if you have an aftermarket DVD unit, all this fuss of warnings and surrondings would be gone!!!
  14. I bought my MBs premium splits under $700 on a sale. I bought the discus rears for $200 and also sound much better than the Type Rs ( I had them on my previous car) Gotta tell you they sound very good. Very strong on vocals and midbass. ppl are saying that the Type X provides much better oomph, but I guess you can compensate by having a strong subbie, cos bass doesnt have any direction.
  15. The mono amp should provide more stable power to the subs than a class A/B amps. To be honest, you should get the pros install them if you are running into difficulties. My installation was done by tower audio (Cos I dont have time) Since the guys only charged me $300 bucks including wiring. I think its a bargain.Dont forget the distirbutors , wiring cost a fortune. Guess you pay big bucks and get proper job done.
  16. It looks like you haad the battery moved to another location. Looks like you had to re-organise certain parts within the engine bay. By the way, how much did it cost you? I guess I wont be buying a new exhaust and TRD extractor if planning for the supercharger. Cos you might need a bigger exhaust and different extractors.
  17. Hi, I got my short antenna from ebay last month http://www.StubbyAntenna.com it takes around 1-2 weeks to get here. They have many styling to suit corolla. its around 10-15 bucks US

  19. Hmmm, I guess I have more problems than you as the D2 suspension is quite low at the moment.
  20. Hi Guys, I would like to get advice with ppl have D2 suspensions. I am looking for a set of 17" x 7 eithe ron buddy club or rays. Can you please advice what offset I should get and tyre profiles. Cos at the moment I am running stock sportivo rims with 195x55x16 and sometimes my tyres can scrub the arches if i run into light bumps when I turn the car hard. Or is it I havent set the stocks hard enough? COs at the moment its very comfortable. thanks
  21. These are D2 coliovers
  22. Is this mean we will able to get TRD parts from TRD dealers now?
  23.
