  1. I have a set of ZR6 taillights fitted on my ATX so there is not really much difference they will fit. As long as you get a set from before the facelift models 2007 - 2012 they will fit in no problem. Found these on ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LEFT-OR-RIGHT-TAIL-LIGHT-FOR-TOYOTA-Toyota-Aurion-09-11-/121173308809?pt=AU_Clothing_Merchandise_Media&var=&hash=item1c367df589 Or http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AURION-XV40-2006-2011-LED-Tail-Rear-Light-Red-Clear-for-TOYOTA-/360582732313?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AAurion&hash=item53f467da19 I didn't have any issues finding any and there is many more to many to post all the links: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XAurion+tailight&_nkw=Aurion+tailight&_sacat=0&_from=R40 Hope this helps you :) - Andrew
  2. Hey all, I have decided to get a cat-back exhaust and have been researching on here and found out that there is already a 2.5 inch pipe from the headers to the cat(s) and then it goes down to 1 or 2 inch to the mufflers so it makes sense to just replace from the cat. Here is where i am stuck been to a few places and one said just replace the mufflers and if i wanted to do a cat back it would cost $800 and i think it was for stainless and have got other quotes for mid steel piping for about $800. To confuse the matter even more i went to another exhaust shop and they said that they had done a few aurions and can make it sound nice with out a drone and $900 for stainless steel. So my question for those that have got it done did you get mid or stainless and is it worth changing out the cats to high flow? Thanks in advance, Andrew.
  3. ** BUMP ** Want these gone and will sell them for $250.00 plus postage, paid much more and now under half price of what i got them for. Will do a deal for fellow owner.
  4. I don't agree there it would be more fun. :)
  5. When i fixed up some rust on my boot lid is cleaned with wd-40 and sandpaper first, for small stone chips that have a little rust i seen at supercheap auto they had a pen that cleans the rust and preps the area. Just can't think what the brand was though.
  6. I got my rims from bob jane t-marts but most tyre shops do sell them as well, also a great place to get advice and answer any questions.
  7. Be cheaper to sell your current car and then buy a TRD Aurion.
  8. I replaced mine with clear, only because that's what i could get since my red ones were cracking. Do prefer the clear though.
  9. Mine is a 2007 model and it feels solid if i was going to get a new car it would not be a current one.
  10. If you want you could take off the front bumper and remove the headlight it self, and then put it back in. All that holds the bumper on is plastic clips.
  11. Never thought of that, i might try and report back :)
  12. Hope my key does not break, is it a common issue?
  13. Try some needle nose pliers for added grip and leverage, On mine 2007 ATX i had to go through the wheel well and was easier then taking off the front bumper. Took me a while but i got them out was not easy but the pliers made it easier. So Paul, you can reach the parkers from the engine bay?
  14. I suspect problem is that you have come to accustomed to the older model.
  15. You need to break a key to get out the chip out.
  16. Anyone else have can's rattle and vibrate in the holders? anyway to fix?
  17. ** FOR SALE ** Exhaust rear sections for 2007-2012 Aurion, Will fit Camry of same year. Changes the sound from bland to awesome and is easy to install. Asking $300 + Postage ( Have had postage quoted at about $30) will ship to anywhere is Australia. Willing to do a deal for a fellow forum member. Ask Here or Send PM for more details. Thank you, Andrew
  18. I would have liked to have a manual aurion, if it was possible. FWD is better in my book its fun hooking corners and knowing you will come out the other side.
  19. G'day, For sale is a set of rear exhaust that would fit a toyota aurion 2007-2012 pre-facelift models and to my knowledge a camry of the same year. They are a straight through design, and by swapping these with your stock mufflers you would be doing a muffler delete. Easy to do just jack up rear of the car and unbolt the 4 bolts and take the stock ones off and put these on. It's a direct swap out and is easy to change back can be done in 20mins They turn the quite no sound into a roaring beast! The sound is hard to describe so i have linked you to a video on youtube: All this does it still keeps your centre muffler, you just remove the two at the back which gives you a little bit of noise. Paid much more so only asking for $300 + postage will ship anywhere in Aus, and take paypal or bank transfer. You will pay much more at a muffler shop to get this done as it's custom made with flanges and direct fit and swap.
  20. Well mine is also a 2007 model so i see a pattern here, i am i think the second or third owner of the car so i don't know what has been used on in it previously. Mine has gone sticky on the drivers side and has a few chunks on the side and in the middle which you can see. I now have a dash mat so you can only see a little damage on the front. You could maybe try which what i am going to do is look for a better one from the wreckers.
  21. Thanks for the info guys, giving me a lot to think about and look out for. On a side note i would like to get some seat covers can anyone recommend some?
  22. I will have to keep a look out, presume that some of those seats comes with out leather?
