  1. do you what kind of off road tracks? some of the rav4's can do some of the lighter stuff with single range. Do the Kluger's come with dual range? lsd/lock diffs?
  2. Use to be like this, wonder why people would spend so much money on how a family/eco car looks rather than get an actual fast car when i use to own my lancer (4wd turbo). After some time I realised that not everyone wants a old ****ty sports car, RWD/AWD, high power, high running costs, petrol bills, stiff suspension, etc... Hell, I drove an F6 for awhile, the only chance you can get to feel the full 310kw is to break the law considerably. And another note, most people (non-car people) prefer the newer model cars (modified or not), Sure, my 95 Lancer was very quick, but to most poeple (generalization of the public) its just another ****ty noisy ricer lancer that goes woosh, and if you think your supra isn't one of them... HA! you will be in for a shock. Hell, I have alot of friends not into cars and they call any car older than 10 years with some modification rice (particularly the women :( ), however a Holden or Ford is immune for some reason.
  3. is it running the stock ECU form the ae1xx series corolla sportivo's? i think they all came in manual format and worth a pretty penny from toyota lol
  4. id go the landy, the hilux looks to pretty edit: maybe not
  5. Suspension can also cause axle tramp.Aas for the dealer, if you modified things they normally dont touch it.
  6. Lancers have something similar when converting to rwd
  7. if their fake it could be Rota P1's http://www.rotaaustralia.com.au/P1_c65198_65201_65399.htm
  8. would thought it would be more black from the exhaust gasses and such... with P_T someone shoved it in to shut up ur car lol
  9. only real ballers run spacers
  10. they are pretty easy to install, took about 20mins per side on a hyundai getz (DONT ASK) running -3 degree camber on the ae86 over 2 years didn't wear too much, but depending on the car/use it could wear more? VT+ commos run slightly negative camber on the rear and they dont have much issues paid $80pair from pedders, maybe could get a deal to install and get wheel alignment?
  11. this one? 3 years, sold it two years ago and bought it back last month :S

  12. they are really bilge pump, u can go to any marina store and buy them for $50. they flow at like 100-150cfm, on idle a 1.6l should do aprox 125cfm, so at higher revs it would just get in the way. might be ok if u like driving between 1-3k rpm?
  13. id take it to a dyno tuner to setup the AFR can u run 12psi with the stock afr? or does it spike/surge?
  14. cheaper to buy a skyline than dropping an engine into things
  15. yeah on idle im on -20psi then, but when revving in neutral it flickers but doesn't really go to + when accelerating it should go +
  16. where did you plug ur boostgauge into? for the lancer i used the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line. pretty much the same as this: http://www.jonesland...uge_Install.htm not sure if it is the same as the 3sgte
  17. rthy

    Strut bars etc

Bought a set of chinese made alloy strut braces for my lancer awhile back, it was cheap (1/3 the cost of jap version), but they also has 1/3 the strengh or less. Could flex the things with my hands
  18. iv seen wheel clamping in Vic, thought it was for repeat offenders?
  19. Nissan GTR and Mistubishi Evo X are dct, even Ford offer powershift/dual clutch transmission in the Fiesta/Focus as the auto option and Mazda soon to release their new skyactiva thingy. Best bet is to rock up to a Ford dealer and take a powershift Fiesta for a spin (they are like $15kish so the dealers shouldn't care so much for a test drive lol). The early vw DSG boxes had some issues, but the newer ones are more refined.
  20. you can get the hex nuts from supercheap/autobarn type places, i paid $1.50ea and also extended studs for around $4-6ea unless ur after the ultralight weight wheel nuts
  21. suspension left for lfs torsion is a pain (i got a b2600 and im just going to get a patrol/landcruiser down the track instead of lifting it) can be down but lots of messing around(correcting the + camber) for the bodylift on the mazda, things like steering rack, fuel filler, brake/clutch lines, bumpers, shifters, etc needed adjustment/extension maybe for toyota it would be easier but for the b2600/courier its alot of money
