  1. Question... how many km's do people get after the fuel light has come on?
  2. Yeah i got these too. Not too impressed with wear. If you like corners get some camber bolts and save the outside edge of the suckers.

  6. just installed mine and its wicked!
  7. I tend to go to the pool first, and only head to the train if its raining. see you there
  8. Dave, Super! I will be out tonight with the dollars to pay you. Pool or station to you think?
  9. I cant remember the last time i drove without hitting the rev limiter. 100,000 km's and still going strong :P
  10. Thanks for the info. So what model would something like this be more suited to? TA22 and then the newer RA23 are your best bets. RA60 is still a good car to mod, maybe with a 1J or 2J though (higher sump). I must admit though with the price of 1UZFE's at the moment ($1000-$1500) they are a pretty tempting choice of engine + on 20kg heavier than a 4age due to the all alloy block.
  11. It can be done. It has been done. Better suited to earlier celica models as the 1UZ-FE has a lower slung sump and the front cross member tends to get in the way. You will also need to put a new rack and pinion in it (Smaller) as the engine will take up more room (I think something from an AE92 has been tried before.
  12. seeming everyone is being stupid and not coming out i might just leave it until next week
  13. Hey Dave. When is mine coming!? 110 zone? Both Photos? HAHAAHA! We can keep it as out little secret :P

Hey Mate, Go to isohunt.com, search for "tomtom maps" and some torrent with aus maps should come up. If you havent used torrents before let me know and I'll sough you out with a bittorent client. The maps need cracking but thats easy. This is not legal but it saves you plenty of $$$
  15. Yeah guys, it was a great night! Nebo is great at that time of night with the lack of traffic. I'm with Dave, One a month would be wicked!
  16. ABS is the bomb, so many times has it been used to get me out of sticky situations :)
  17. HAHA! Maybe with alot of effort, wont be a strait bolt on. It certainly wont fit in the stock wheels either. The offset is all wrong. ask some of the guys who have done 'big brake' upgrades (xoom) to see what you can get. superdave also has a post which has been stickied in the brakes and suspension section which goes through all the after market brake kits you can buy.
  18. Get ready, corolla front wheel bearings are EXPENSIVE!!! they are quite a large bearing and will set you back somewhere near $150 each. When you put the new bearing in load the hub up with Castrol HTB (High Temperature Bearing) Grease ($10 for a whole tub). YOu may want to use some rubber grease (the white stuff) but i used the bearing grease for all my seals with no problems as of yet. Also make sure you you torque all the bolts up to their specified levels. (Hope you got the corolla service manual to help you out)
  19. Hey i think thats a pretty good price? But will the paint fade off?? Yeah the price is really good although I wonder if they will remove the calipers for you? The powder coating will last very long and will not loose colour or fade at all. That is for the fronts only. It is $60 for all 4. Bargain if you ask me...plus they only use Dulux powder coating which is temperature rated to 400*c. Obviously they do not take off the calipers for you but i bought a new set so thats no problem for me. The place I'm going is large scale and has heaps of work on hence the small price tag. I have faith that the powder coating should last a while especially if treated with a clear coat (although this is not necessary) I am taking them in tomorrow, I'll post pics as soon as they arrive back
