  1. buy my whiteline rear sway mar and cusco front strust brace in the FS section http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...mp;#entry382560
  2. why not just buy form toyota. oem IS QUALITY!!!!!!!!
  3. too easy, i am le tired anyway so i might give it a miss too. Mick you can have a drive next week
  4. how long is a pice of string? are you goping without food because of it? If yes then you paid too much. If you don't miss the $25 you probably got a good deal.
  5. 2000 SX in white. Engine feels a little tired, however i will get a powerFC for it and see how it goes from there. It is easier to drive, much sportier (as you said you sit low (200SX low)) and its still good on fuel. Plus its a toyota so it wont cost an arm and a leg to fix should anything go wrong. the lack of ABS is the only thing which worries me considering the amount that I use it. :P come out on Thursday night if you want to take the Rolla for a fang mate
  6. nah nothing too dodgey about it. just got reasonably high km's hence why it is cheaper. everything about the celica is nicer than the sportivo :P Come on Phil....have a go at me now!
  7. 2000 ZZT231 Celica will be the new toy. $12500 drive away woot woot Now just to get rid of mine
  8. belts are good for more than 80km however nothing stopping you replacing it then. rattle comes from the tensioner pulley. mine is kind of fixed with just a pulley replacement, however a full tensioner arm is the way to go if you want to stop the rattle. at the end of the day there is nothing wrong with your car.
  9. they are good for a street pad. they do produce alot of dust, but that is expected of a performance pad. :)
  10. Hahahahaha! mate all 2ZZ engines have the diesel sound at idle. oil choice will not change it :) trust me. your car is A OK! :D
  11. Correct they will fit. I bought some off an Aus seller so keep an eye out. :)
  12. slow is an understaement :P but they do drive very very nice :)
  13. Ever heard of the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" no offence but you seem to create all these fictional problems with your car! I know of a few guys with 2zz's that have gone 200,000km's without replacing a chain, water pump etc. a bit of coolant is nothing to worry about. as soon as water starts pi$$ing out of the seal then replace. your car probably overheated because you were driving in traffic. 3/4 on the temp guage is nothing to worry about! once it gets to the H mark begin to worry. truly man you are driving a very reliable car. just relax and enjoy it. dont spend unnecessary money on things that dont need to be fixed.
  14. Hahahaha i love how all threads on this place end up in an arguement :P got a pay rise today so i no loger need to sell the car!!!!!!!! doesnt mean i will turn down the offer of a 2000 celica for 12k ... mmm
  15. Hey Guys/Girls, I am chasing some ideas for a new ride. As much as I love my Sportivo, my overseas holiday requires funds so a quick sale fo the car into something a little cheaper might be the go. So far i ahve been looking at Lexus IS200's but havent found one on the condition I want so I am open to new ideas. It doesnt need to be fast, but something with a bit of style would be good. Let the ideas roll on in. fee free to post links to cars on carsales etc :)

    Evo's 1zz

I really hope this nets you a decent power gain evan! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. they rev to 8200 ish....a little higher sometimes :)
  18. Or it's axle tramp! happens when you have 195 wide tyres :P its nothing to be concerned about. some people claim a front sway bar reduces the tramp
  19. yeah mate it's the acc belt which does alternator, water pump, powersteering, aircon etc. probably time for a change at 7 years old :)
  20. Are you using a stick air box or pod filter? clean it out to see if there are any blockages as it sounds like an air starvage issue to me. happens after i wash my pod filter from time to time.
  21. have a look at the AC pulley. If it is shiny the belt needs replacing as its probably slipping when the compressor is under load (hence the squeel). If it is a slipping belt the sound should be worse when under acceleration. get a belt from toyota for $50
  22. i know fronts are 15's and rears are 16's if that help. Ask SD
