if the remote is still working e-bay is your friend. you will be able to pick up a new case for about $10. if you still have the small metal tag on your keys with a 4 or 5 digit code take that to a locksmith and they can cut you a new one. if not they can still cut off the original key but it may not work as well :)

hey i installed one on my 02 Levin back in the day. worked really well. it was an AP300. you can pick them up off ebay for a reasonable price. :)

clutch can'y technically be adjusted. the adjustment is made in the foot well of the car to the 'pushrod' connected to the top of the clutch pedal. so no the gearbox does not have to be removed.

It will be your idler pulley which is part of the Accessory Belt Tensioner. AT low rpm it will make a rattle sound. its no big deal. there is no need to fix it unless it annoys you. if you want to replace it you can get the pulley for about $30 from bursons/repco etc

He mustn't have looked in a 2zz head before, it doesn't have lifters. The sound is normal, nothing to worry about. 6 month intervals are the recommended time frame if you haven't reached 10,000km anyway. Umm... i think your the one who hasn't looked in a 2zz head, they have hydraulic lifters. Going in on monday, its a sticking lifter Mate watch yourself. Considering SuperDave has rebuilt a 2ZZ from scratch and put new cams in his 2ZZ head i'm pretty sure he knows whats going on with the 2ZZ. ALL 2ZZ'S MAKE THE DIESEL SOUND. STOP WASTING EVERYONES TIME WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD THERE IS NOTHING WRONG!!!!!!! hope you have fun wasting your money on monday fixing something that some mechanic has told you is wrong that doesnt exist :P i wonder what he's going to tell you he did once he takes the rocker cover off and realises its not a 1zz corolla like hes fixed before and it doesn't have hydralic lifers :P

Contrary to popular opinion higher pressure actually gives more grip in the wet as it prevents the channels from narrowing as the tyre loads up Plus it reduces rolling resistance and improves fuel economy. Tyres will have a max pressure on them somewhere, even then there is a factor of safety involved anyway. maybe on RE001's :P not on KH15's :P then run something better than KH15s :P :o i would but i don't care about the next owner fo the car :P so they can stick with sucky tyres!!!!!!!!!!!!

your tyres will not pop. 40psi is fine in any street tyre....it prolongs the life if it. can lead to it being a litlle slipery in the wet though :P

cheap and sprinters are two words that do not go together! if you want a straight one you will pay through the nose for it. sorry!

Sounds like an issue with the CAN-bus system (i presume the aurion uses it). do a full ecu reset (which will also rejig the CAN-bus and that should fix the problem) :)
