  1. Nope, manual. It was really out of tune when we started... At low rev, it was too lean, and at high rev too rich! So that was one problem corrected..
  2. Just had my Emanage tuned! Finally!! Won't bore everyone with details, but I will let you know it took a bit of screwing around but we got it working!! After two intitial runs the 1ZZ-FE engine was only pumping out 66kW, which wasn't very impressive... :( We did I think 8-10 runs on the dyno changing timing, ignition, fuel/air ratio, and VVTi settings. At the end of it all, the Heatseca was pumping 87kW, and 340 nm of torque!! A big improvement and not such a bad result either wouldn't you think?? :) Will post my sheet up as soon as I scan it...
  3. Mine's an 02 ascent. It used to do the idle thing when it was newer. Its now past 71,000kms and is now modded. Ever since i put my short ram, exhaust, iridium sparks, and emanage its only ever done it once and that was after some serious hard driving through the natio park...
  4. I used to occasionally have this problem as well... I put my emanage in, and it hasn't happened in a while.... The last time it did have this prob, with the emanage in, was when i drove it really hard in the natio park with Dylan, Bill, and KT...
  5. When did u guys take these pics? Last saturday? One of thie pics look like it was taken at the Krispy Kreme at the airport. If thats the case, I must have seen you when u were just leaving!! I was wondering who that was with the awesome rear wing!
  6. Hey guys, fairly dumb question, but can someone explain "offsett" and any other important things when looking for new wheels? All i know is to look for 4 stud wheels... So my knowledge is pretty limited! Thanks guys!
  7. Black Levin I think in Star City Hotel. X-Force muffler, white rims. Rego: FEK-***
  8. To quote Jim Morrison from Wayne's World: "If you book them, they will come.." ← it's actually Kevin Cosner in "field of dreams"... "Wayne's World" ripped it off... ← yeah well... i liked Wayne's World better! :P
  9. To quote Jim Morrison from Wayne's World: "If you book them, they will come.."
  10. I too like to go down south in my Rolla a few times on occasion (when she's in the mood) :P :D The mountains are also lots of fun... :D
  11. I've already warned him (SIX) about this and asked him not to advertise (if thats what he was doing) ← SIX is ignition-x (Benson). He knows he's been warned before so he's trying to be sneaky and pretend he just "heard" that ignition-x happens to be selling these items...
  12. That was me! Been waiting for someone to spot me... :P Where were you? As Blue Stivo said, did you see the blue Sportivos? ← lol ... i only saw the maroon corolla ... it was like right next to Olympic park station .. i was on the eastern side sitting down waiting for my bus.. :P ← Yeah I thought someone was watching me... :P btw.. who won the game?
  13. Yes after last night I'm conviced the govt. is trying to screw me on purpose... But I enjoyed scaring myself to death on the Nashy run! :D
  14. That was me! Been waiting for someone to spot me... :P Where were you? As Blue Stivo said, did you see the blue Sportivos?
  15. Thats right!! Where: P6 Olympic Park When: 5pm, 28th (tomorrow!) What to bring: Yourselves, friends, your rollas, CBs (If you got em), and Camera for those risky but interesting in-tunnel shots! See you all there!
  16. i got my leather done at a place called masters at st peters in sydney.. ← Looks hot.. How much did it cost?
  17. More info if people are still interested.... The tunnel will be opened for traffic after the walk-through has been completed at around 3pm. If we can all meet up at 3pm (or around then) we could be the very first public cars to roar through the tunnel. Or if people want to wait till later we can still cruise through at maybe 7pm or wateva. Open for suggestions here... We'll meet up at Olympic Park at P6, the usual place and then head into the tunnel. We may then head out to Bondi for a bit and then on to where ever.... Probably gonna be a short one, but good times to be had, and its an excuse for a cruise... :P
  18. yep... trying to get a few more rollas involved so the private lane does happen!!! :D ← Very interested. Both dates sound good. Would prefer the 29th though....
  19. I had one fitted when my corolla had its 10,000 km service back in 2003... Decided never to fit again as it didn't really make much difference (except it being red..) I think I also hold the record for 'most expensive damage done to a rolla without it having being written off by my tight insurance company': $15,000. Apparently it was cheaper to fix than write-off. I come close to big-bum's records, but not quite there. However, I'm also having trouble removing the stains. I think I may hold the record for the biggest sex-related stain on my front seat... :o :P :D
  20. I'm at UNSW. Doin' Aviation Management...
  21. Well dude, how much u wanna spend and how long will your current breaks last? that TRD shop in singapore has TRD pads in stock for S$230 (minus about 25% to aust dollar) so if you call them they'd probably fed-ex it to u within a week. www.trd.com.sg i think ← Would TRD pads alone really make a difference? Well, besides to the weight of your wallet...
  22. Just got word, it's on for 28th August!! The tunnel will be open for traffic on the Sunday evening, so lets not waste time! I know a lot of us have been waiting for the govt to get off their fat proverbials and open the thing. As soon as I find out a definate time of opening, I'll orgainse a meeting time. Tell all your friends, anyone with a rolla, or just plain anyone! Sydney’s Cross City Tunnel will be officially opened on Sunday, 28 August, 2005 following the completion of detailed commissioning works. Mr Peter Sansom, Chief Executive of CrossCity Motorway said the first vehicles to use the tunnel were expected to make the trip late on the Sunday evening or early the next morning. “We very much welcome the advice of the contractor, the Baulderstone Hornibrook Bilfinger Berger Joint Venture that the project is now ready to go,“ Mr Sansom said. “It will now open to traffic 8 weeks ahead of its contracted date of October 19. “Over the last two months, the intricate task of checking and double checking the operating systems that will control all aspects of the Cross City Tunnel has been undertaken. Mr Paul Levins, General Manager, Operations and Corporate Affairs, Bilfinger Berger Australia said the Cross City Tunnel was now set to join other Sydney icons that Baulderstone Hornibrook has built, including the Sydney Opera House and the Anzac Bridge. “The Cross City Tunnel is a great engineering achievement under one of the most sophisticated cities in the world,” Mr Levins said. “It will provide a vital link in Sydney’s transport infrastructure for generations to come,” he said.
  23. I wish you hadn't said that.... I inspedted the wiring to the best of my ability and I still can't find any pulled wires or any disconnections as such. Its also doesn't help when I'm not too sure where I'm supposed to look.. Is there a thread or picture you have on hand that shows where that loom is supposed to sit behind the glove box? Maybe its the way I've stuffed it there thats causing the problem, but I'm not sure... Would I have to remove the heatshrink to inspect further? What are the consequences if I have to do this?
