Quick question... Anyone know where in Sydney I could find some of these fluids? Preferably the motor oil? The FUCH'S site didn't offer much help...

Somethin like that.... Its not too hard. Just sign up for an account, put a deposit for the tag, put money onto the account. At the end of each quarter fill in the cash back forms and send them off.

Its a little complicated... You get the eway tag and put money (usually $100) into an eway account. An amount gets deducted from your bank account when your e-way account is low. At the end of each quarter e-way sends you a statement of your trips and itemises the trips on the M4 and M5. These are the only roads you can claim the cash back. You deduct the GST from the total amount for these roads, fill in the forms they have sent with your statement, send it back to them, and they will deposit the cash back into your bank account... I think there are some extra charges related to the amount of usage but I cant remember these off the top of my head...

if you're thinking of heading north, unfortunately old pac is it... Unless you want to head in a different direction... I remember I had to go for a drive out towards blue mountains way a few weeks ago. Down the M4 was a really good drive and the scenery got really nice towards Blaxland and blue mountains. Its not too far either considering you're doin a good speed down the M4 although it does seem a distance. I dont think it'll be too jammed up either...

Depends how far you want to go... I was thinking Brooklyn, some nice spots up there, on the way to Terrigal... Or maybe Terrigal... :P I know the roads well enough... But i'd say around 10:30, if people can get out of bed...

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!! CROSS CITY TUNNEL OPENING DELAYED!!! Yes it seems the guys in governement have screwed us a bit.... The cross city tunnel WILL NOT OPEN ON 12 JUNE!! Its been delayed to the end of July!! I'm so ****** off!! Which puts a bit of a downer on the cruise that was planned for next sunday.... "The CrossCity Motorway is now scheduled to open to traffic by the end of July – still more than two months ahead of schedule. “More time is needed to complete the final works and to comprehensively test and certify all of the operating systems” said the Chief Executive of the Cross City Motorway, Mr Peter Sansom. “We regret the decision to postpone the opening date. However, this is the most technically advanced tunnel in the world and we want to ensure all the new systems are working as designed,” said Mr Nick Greiner, Chairman of Bilfinger Berger Australia. “The Bourke Street ramp and the connection with the Eastern Distributor, still require further work.” Mr Greiner said. “Those areas then require commissioning and we need then to be confident beyond any doubt that the entire Motorway operates as a whole” Mr Greiner said." Hardly seems worth the money for looks, but i suppose you get a gain in the handling department...

if you want go to www.crosscity.com.au and follow the links to register for a pass for the day. You register your rego and pay a small amount into an account. When you go through the tunnel, a camera will snap a pic of your rego and deduct the amount from your account. easy. Its handy if you're just using the tunnel for the day...

Ok, I got an update for all those interested!! Cruise is on next sunday, however its been changed from a day to a night cruise due to that fact that when the tunnel opens on the sunday, people will be walking it for most of the day, and I dont think we want to get too many dents knockin people down... :P so... Meet time: 7pm (sound ok?) Where: Homebush carpark (i couldnt get the map up but its where the meets usually are... if someone wants to clarify which carpark it is that would be great!) Route: We'll head out down the M4 first (stretch our rolla's legs so to speak..) and then on the parra road. We'll then head down city west link and over tha anzac bridge into the tunnel (have cameras ready!) Once we enter the tunnel, we can have the choice of heading to bondi, or out to double bay and rose bay (up to you guys, i dont mind). Note: For all those who dont have an e-tag, and dont want to get one (for whatever reason), you can register on the cross city website fo a one off trip. www.crosscity.com.au Bring your CBs if you got em! Was thinking of getting an Injen purely to be one of the first... but I'm a little swayed now that i found out it was a two piece... i figure a one piece is more effective..

My mistake! :P Motul! It has been a while since i used it... And I have used the Penrite semi synthetic one as well...

My mechanic at Toyota reckon Magnetec. I've Motul before and thats ok. Both are fairly expensive.... Really hard to tell the difference in performance... But using Magnetec with a TRD performance oil filter felt like a good combination of protection and a incredibly small if not none gain in performance...
