  1. Agree with all points :) except the dog bit mine is small and old and getting lazier there are exceptions to every rule..
  2. I agree must be inconsistent tires The rims should be balance spot on from new
  3. I don't know why anyone would by an expensive in dash unit these days when portable GPS units are so cheap and offer superior features as far as the navigation is concerned such as: Ok I will be on the negative team and speak from experience and as a retailer and techo. Cheaper map upgrades (or free upgrades if you're inclined to obtain a copy illegally)....torrents but no one uses them right! Regular firmware upgrades. Why? Do you have problem with is operation as a GPS AND THE BACK BONE OF HOW IT WORKS? RDS-TMC traffic data for Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney. Good point if it worries you Redlight and speed camera locations. Most vendors offer updates, and some even offer live updates for mobile cameras. It would be a Nice have Speed limits and warnings on some maps. True Ability to take it with you to another car.......This is the biggest problem besides being an eye saw on the dash......The thieves love them they even look for the suction cap marks on the glass as you did not want to take your GPS shopping with you did you? Its under the seat?? Don't leave it in sight it will go! And guess what it not insured either!!!or not worth insuring Ability to make user corrections to maps such as with TomTom's Mapshare Who Cares leave it to the pros By the way honey do you know where we are now? and where we are going too, no I left the dam GPS at home again!!! Sorry just had some very very bad experiences not to mention my customers and friends.... I'm sure you know some one? Moral of the story don't leave them on display and make sure you security lock them etc.....it doesn't guarantee you'll get them back either, also do you know how to get Home from here? Ask the thief hes got our GPS dear!!! The GPS IN the grande dosn't have all the bells and whistles of the cheap mass produced items because its designed to work for the next 10 years or so your portable GPS WONT GO CLOSE FOR LONGEVITY Also one thing the STD Grande GPS does that no portable one will ever do is use dead reckoning, work extremely quickly at start up and work in tunnels because its connected to a speed trigger regardless if the GPS can see the sky or not! Not that many of need help in tunnels but it sound and looks better than searching for satellites or poor reception or a dull screen you cant use because of no GPS reception. Any one else with a Grande? seen the GPS not ready to display as you start the car????? No because its always located.... We all want more I know but the Grande GPS has a lot of positives in my books. LARGEST DISPLAY HARD TO STEEL ALWAYS IN THE CAR READY TO GO DEAD RECKONING QUALITY AND LONGEVITY NEAT/INTEGRATED GOOD PRICE MAPPING I did exactly what you did with your installation over 3 years ago and they took it one year....... I was lucky they did not take more and do more damage than they did + break a window as well....
  4. Isn't it share the love Taka? :) I haven't even tried to look yet!
  5. I would suggest that with your current friendship making skills that you should keep away from the Kluger guys unless you have something constructive to add. I think the dice would go well but not sure of legality of them hanging from the mirror! :D
  6. That must have been the beeping when it looses traction in sand, it was on, I should have turned it off when I got to the slippery stuff, the beeping was a bit annoying. :D as well as the retardation as Borat says
  7. True true they are board and after jobs and $$$$$......Not From me though :P
  8. I had a girl ring me up from the dealership when the car was in for its 20'000Km service, telling me the same same thing! I told her they are dreaming its only done 17'000Kms and it pulls like a freight train.........PASS!!!
  9. I agree with reducing the heat of the dash board and protecting it but I just dont like carpet as the result.....its seem cheap and takie, but if works who am I to judge my dad used them on his sigma and intergra in the 80's so there could be hope for me yet!
  10. One way to turn your modern car into a 1970's model, each to there own
  11. Some of the reasons I didn't even consider the $3740 Toyota navigation system. Do you have audio problems in the Grande? I think the problem for the LOWER MODELS also the Hilux is the Microphone is in the radio eg low in the dash not like the Grande's up in the roof!
  12. Yep I Noticed that with a trailer on going over those humps as well..... a bit to slow for my liking but if it was raining hard it could be a life saver.
  13. Ah no not Melbourne! :( NSW Yes :D These photos were taken last month at Harrington, You could have taken a 2WD on the first 5Km of beach after that the sand got softer and deeper as you can tell by THE NEW SAND SIDE WALLS TIRES.
  14. Our nudge bar was on the car when we purchased it as a Demo, I asked them to remove it at the time, but It has grown on me now it breaks up that standard bull nose look!
  15. Did you end up with any success on this. I'm expecting delivery on my Grande next week, and I've asked my dealer about this as well, no surprises that they still don't have a clue. Thanks.... Nope cable still hanging there for over a year now! It doesn't seem to worry any one!!
  16. I used 20PSI in ours two weeks ago and it gave a great feeling! This is a real photo no editing, I'm at the rear of the car not the front!!
  17. It would seem its not a good idea to roll these mats up guys! I think they are made of cheese............ :D
  18. Good luck with your future Kluger. I do, however, highly recommend getting the rubber boot mat as well. In hindsight, it should have been my highest priority accessory after towing kit. On the down side Andrew, just keep an eye on the rear mat, mine is nearly in two pieces as it has torn up the seat belt slot on one side :o , We find its a real pain when it comes to lifting up the 3rd row seat when you are out you end up rolling up the mat, I think that's how it started the tare off and it just grew because it is so heavy. I like the Subaru ones better, because they are lighter, higher lipped and easier to clean but unfortunately do not fold so would not work with the Kluger when out on a trip when you have to use the 3 row. B) Lucky it was an extra that was in the car that I did not pay extra for! :)
  19. Prados are set to 50PSI from Japan :)
  20. Thanks for the Advice Adrian. :) PM Sent
  21. Is it possible to output sound from the dvd in the back of a Grande to the factory head unit ? I haven't figured out how and couldn't find anything in the manuals. I used the side headphone socket on the Rear DVD with fixed external speakers. But I suppose you could use the optional Ipod socket to input now! Head unit does not have a std input FM Modulator is another option from rear DVD others on hear have used!
  22. PC XT
