  1. I would agree with taka to go with "performace" replacement bulb 1st and see if you're happy with the results. retrofitting HID is very costly and bear in mind you need headlight washers too. although i too would question its purpose but this is to keep it Legal
  2. #2: Isn't the 1st batch of Kluger delivered in 07 when it was launched in Aug 07 in Oz? My Kluger production date is Feb 08 anyway I definitely hope this problem doesnt affect our cars

  4. Scott, I had in mind to do the same on my KXR. After seeing the sequence of pics, the wiring, clips, now I have 2nd thoughts. I am pretty confident that I can get to the 2nd step with the bolts but after that I am not too sure This post has to be linked somewhere in this forum so it wont get lost. Many will benefit from this in the future.. This is great stuff
  5. Scott well done well done some questions: did it involve removing the front bumper bar to fit the bezels + lights? do we need qualified mechanic to replace the stalk as the steering wheel needs to be removed? did u get the new stalk from toyota or ebay? thank u
  6. I must agree the stereo on the KXR sucks! FM sounds like AM. Even the single CD unit on my ex Corolla was slightly better Do u guys think its the unit itself or the speakers are crappy?
  7. The spec says "constant all wheel drive". Does this mean 50:50 front:rear torque split? Is this what subaru calls symmetrical AWD?
  8. Yeap.. I tried to be very careful not to scratch those grey plastic areas but still.. I dont know how the he** a few scratches got there Could have used piano black plastic like in the cx9 :(
  9. Interesting.. Will see what happens to mine in coming months
  10. Thank *** he didn't reply you "seeing the face of a kluger's owner getting smoked by Territoty Turbo = Priceless" :D Haha Alright.. back to KLUG. I find it strange that someone would cross shop btw a Kluger & Territory Turbo. What was he looking for in the 1st place...
  11. apart from those already mentioned, how abt using less viscous engine oil like 5W-30. toyota's "original" oil is 10W-40. but this will cost u more initially by bringing your own oil to the service, which is already fixed at $150
  12. And if you do, what assurance do you have that it will end up in your car ? No assurance at all .. just got to trust them
  13. Since our cars' 1st 6 services are pegged at $150 each incl parts & labour, would you be bothered to supply your own MOBIL 1? :D
  14. So did anyone had any success with fog lamps on KXR?
  15. Oh my g.. No offence intended
  16. Been driving in my Kluger for more than a week now Model: KXR, AWD, 7 seats Average fuel consumption: 11.3l/100km Daily traffic: 70% peak hour crawl along Melbourne's M1, 30% suburb Not bad at all
  17. Even with the 19" on Grande? Mate, I thought u said the Kluger was solid? :(

  23. If you're given a 2nd chance to pick btw the CX9 and Kluger, will it be the Kluger? My mind is sortof at the crossroad again.. I dunno if I should drop my Kluger order and get the Mazda.. Saw one on Monash freeway the other day it was behind my car and I couldnt help but to look at the rearview mirror at every possible oppurtunity.... Striking!! Then I let it pass me and it was then side by side a Cayenne S. Two good-looking behinds and the CX9's looked better!
  24. cfionline.com.au have all the Kluger prices
