I have a set of wildcat headers on the way which hopefully will be installed in the coming weeks. Just wanted to know from other people with aftermarket headers, is there enough room to install the headers without lowering the sub frame. A search of the forum found plenty of threads on the headers but nothing to do with the install.

Round 2 Got the safc installed and tuned. Wasnt expecting and huge gains seeing as all we were playing with were air fuel ratios. The safc netted 2 (TWO) whole HP more. With the top end leaned out I guess I can look forward to better fuel economy possibly. Time to get a full exhaust I think. Also on the same day a bog stock zre was dyno as well which got 111hp. I don't have dyno sheet for that but its air fuel ratios were super super rich in comparison.

mine is supposedly 100kw. its a october 04 built car so no drive by wire for me. -
A mate of mine was getting his car dynoed today and someone else pulled out leaving a free spot so, for a laugh I got mine dynoed as well : Not sure how to interpret this or how it compares to other 1zz's but its a 2004 ascent hatch with apexi intake and muffler off a corolla sportivo. I also have SAFC 2 that may get install if and when i can be bothered.

just another case of the cops having it both ways. <_< if someone hits my car the police dont want to know about it. screech your tires then you are dubbed a hoon and you can potentially lose your car or licence. how does that work?

The shocks cost 1240 from cypher here in perth. Guess I can thank the aussie dollar going to mud for that. fitting of shocks was done at a mates place and cost me a feed at nandos.

Thanks for the info SB The shocks went in yesterday. The fronts and rears have been set to 3/4 hard. The ride is firm yet comfortable. No more crashing over expansion joints in bridges compared to the factory shocks ^_^ which were well and trully rooted. the front shocks did not hiss or spray oil across the workshop when I drilled through the bottom of the factory struts and the rears did not rebound evenly from left to right. No change to the ride hieght either which good as there a huge speed bumps and curbs at work.

just after a bit of info from those with koni yellows since the rear shocks have to be removed to be adjusted, what would you reccommend as a firmness setting for the rear shocks? The car is a enthusiasticly daily driven. The car has sportivo accessory springs, whiteline sway bars front and rear and the front strut tower brace. thanks

spotted on freeway south black facelift hatch with tint, cannon exhaust, split 5 spoke chome alloys, side skirts and a bent antenna. i think a chick was driving. plate was 1CCO-??? anyone?
