  4. this is better! hehe... aurion ZR6
  5. I bought my ZR6 (which is for sale buy the way) in South Aus and shipped to Perth because i couldn't get wildfire red in WA. It did cost 1200 and even though the dealer sent me heaps of hi res digital photo's there was still a few little things i missed. Would have bought the car anyway but Will always try to buy local in the future. Good luck and good to see a another future aurion owner on this site!
  6. BAS TRD i like it! why don't dealers list the build number when selling TRD's on carsales? If i found the right number i would buy the bloody car!
  7. ZR Nate simple and boring car modeal and first name. Soon to be TRD Nate i hope!
  8. number 4 and PM sent...great initiative!
  9. thanks for the GL. might be difficult finding the right car in WA though. Need to think of a suitable TRD license plate too......
  10. My car is now listed in the for sale section of this forum with a link to carsales like this one my ZR6 with any luck it'll sell and i'll buy a 3500SL just can't see me buying anything with suede seats...
  11. after spending a great week on holidays in almost sunny broome i made a decision. It is silly to have a decent amount of savings and a car loan so reduced the savings which reduced the loan and went shopping for a TRD. MY current loan is now less than the worst trade in igure i was offered ($25000). SO as far as repayments etc go this is no longer an issue and will not affect my final decision. I visited 5 yards in Perth and spent over 7 hours looking at what is available in perth with the following results wildfire red 3500S: saw 2 of these one at 32900 and one at 34996. ink 3500SL: again saw 2 of these 42990 and 43990. the $43990 is fully optioned silver 3500SL: one of these 40990. the most kilometres was just over 30,00 km with the least km being 16000 km ish. i played pick the price with a couple of the dealers and the best deal without signing an OTP for the 3500SL is $11000 more than the best offer for the 3500S. I must be honest i am not a fan of the red leather and red suede in the 3500S nor am i fan of the three big aircon knobs. I've had keyless entry and front and rear sensors for 15 months and i can live without it. Wy am i writing all of this.... i just want some one to help justify the extra ten grand for leather seats and climate control... Do i really want to go through the hassle of swapping my aftermarket sat nav over if i bought a 3500SL with factory sat nav and what would an aftermarket moon roof cost?
  12. sorry for the delay, i'm in Broome on holidays with limited web access. I will pass on this sorry for hassles cuased. On a bright note i'm going into talk about a trd on Tuesday....
  13. Hi if your gonna do eyelids as well I'll jump in. Already have the grill though! \ thanks, Nate
  14. welcome to the club! heaps of advise here about all you wish to Mod. If you do upgrade your rims i know you'll be able to sell the TRD rims to help cover costs. Don't know of anyone who's installed a moonroof good luck! Look at the auspack ACV 6901 sat nav, a few of us have it and dollar for dollar is a great option. cheers, Nate
  15. Andre? WA suspension in Balcatta i think maybe (osborne park) supply and fit King springs. Got a quote from there a few weeks ago for my car and was about $600.00. they do a 35mm drop. I've got 18'' ROh wheels on mine and while still happy with them wish i'd gone for 19''s. I will also be getting strut and sway bars shortly (once in stock) and if your interested we can share postage. I'm in dunsborough but travel to Perth regularly. cheers, Nate
  16. nice helmet mate, didn't want it to match the car?
  17. I would definately pay for the shirt if it looks good, that said, i've volunteered to pay for the stickers and they would get a lot more air time !
  18. Hey Daryl, started raining yesterday so i decided to watch the footy instead, good weekend for west aussie teams! Anyway, will removing the resonator affect my warranty at all? should i out it back in before i get the car serviced? thanks mate!
  19. That would do the trick. A bit on the pricey side but it is made pretty good. I was considering that as well. what kind of price should it be? Thanks Daryl! will remove lower resonator today and let you know how i go!
  20. So while i'm sitting here in WA wishing i lived in Brisbane i thought i'd be adventurous and try a few of these things. Replacing the Head unit and speakers is officially the most work i've ever done on a car and it terrified me (especially pulling out the back seat). IF i buy a K&N drop in filter (learning the Lingo) can anyone tell me what model? to buy? Would it be possible for a noob to change the upper and lower resonator himself and if so what do i do? AM i ever gonna be able to but one of those SRI's that Random hero made and could i install it if i did? thanks for the helping hand peeps! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-TYPHOON...sQ5fAccessories Would this do it?
  21. Mate, Very nice and congratulations....
  22. might be time to ask you exactly how you've modified that car Daryl.... Good on you for holding the Aurion torch!!!
