Well just for reference, I obtained some numbers from http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp This is more for an accurate rolling diameter and not for anything else: So if you were going for the most ideal tire size on 20 inch wheels, it would be 235/35R20. Though, you could even go for 245/35R20. It may then read on the speedo 1.67% slower, but with the amount that the speedo is already off in the Aurion, this wouldn't be an issue. Plus as well you can get the Potenza Adrenalins in that size, lol. If you do want the 30 profile though for looks, you should go for the 245/30R20. You load rated tire choices are limited, but you would probably be looking at something like a Maxxis MA-Z1.

I should be more specific. It's easy to go undetected from the popo. Because of the design of the car, a 20% tint seems 'fit' for the car. Insurance is a different story however. I'm not too sure what they can say in regards to that. Others here that have gotten 20% tints have had invoices written up for 35%. In a way, that can cover your a** for a little.

With what you have said, I think that may be the case in other states but in Queensland unfortunately the following applies: "Automotive tinting material which has a light transmittance factor of not less than 35 per cent (T35) may be used on any non-tinted side or rear window." I don't find that level of tint fun to drive with at night though.

That's insane. Clearly it shows that they did not take enough care in taking it apart and putting it all back together. To hear that they didn't even put hte steering wheel on straight is a MASSIVE sign of their incompetence. How the hell is one able to trust their dealer to service their car. It's things like that which make me prefer to do things myself.

It was alright, and surprisingly roomy. I've slept in worse conditions. Though the pillow was just like a pillowcase filled with macaroni. I guess it was just something for the experience. Yeah, double sided tape seems to do the trick in most cases. For my last car, I had some adhesive rubber weather stripping. That solved my problem as well. On my Aurion, my personalised plate has a backing plate of 1-1.5mm thick steel, plus the plate weights like 1kg with it all put together. Never had a rattling issue with that. Hehehe.

That usually happens when one indicator light is blown. Check all your lights. It's the way the flasher relay works. When one light blows, the resistance decreases, and the flasher relay trips faster.

Well, looks like I've got my old job back. In the time I was away from my last employer, they were bought out by the Japanese. Looks like my hourly rate has gone up as well. Now to resist the urge to spend it on the Aurion.

Thanks Rowan. The market is a rough field at the moment. I may be going back to my old employer for a 6 month contract very soon. At least it will earn me some more bucks, enable me to quit the call centre, and gain some more experience. It comes with the bonus of travelling as well to various cities around Australia, so hopefully everything goes well.

I say this to everyone firstly because I acknowledge how it sounds. I work in a call centre for GE Money (yes I know). I chose to work there because it was the most flexible while I was studying. I just finished studying Electrical and Electronic Technology, so now I am on the search for a new job. Bit of a hard search at the moment.

Whoa. Watch the pic quoting there. Anyways, the Auspack unit is a single DVD drive. One DVD holds a little more than 6 CD's so it's just as good. Even better though when you load the DVD up with MP3. No need to have it change discs every now and again.

The best way to have it installed as soon as possible is to give it a go yourself. sera709 was willing to give it a shot and he managed to do it all on his own. It really is that user friendly. To remain within specifications, replacement tires for the Aurion must have a speed rating of no less than category 'V'. Under the standard, category 'V' speed rated tires can handle a speed of 240km/h for a duration of 10 minutes without danger to the tire itself. Our Aurion's here come with Dunlop or Michelin tires. I'm not sure about the Dunlops, but the Michelins are category 'V' speed rated. If you have Yokohama's from factory with your Aurion, they are most likely the C. Drive. Those would be speed rated category 'W', which means the same as above, just up to 270km/h. The Aurion is in fact quite stable at 220km/h and it does come down to the road you are on. If you really want to remove your speed limiter, then that's your choice. It's just a matter of whether you can find out how. For me, I think that it is quite pointless to go to the effort for it since there isn't a real need to.
