  1. does any1 know what type of front bar that is, plus r those factory light overseas (notice the black inside them)
  2. I ditched that headunit since i was use to better sound quality and control, but i gave the 6 disc changer to my girlfriends dad (he has the ascent) and he think its the best thing ever.
  3. Im confused so your saying there is a facelift of the facelifted corolla Is it different to this 1?
  4. ive got that noise too. Toyota probably wont fix it. I stopped the rattles in my doors by duct taping basically the whole door. Just duct tape down anything that moves (wires plastic bits underneath the trim), I know it sounds crazy but it works. I think i used like a whole roll. Hope this helps. $2 duct tape = no vibrations and rattles
  5. looks like all have that noise, so nothing to worry about

  10. here is the narva website for the l.e.d's. I havnt had a chance to check which ones fit yet http://www.narva.com.au/Globes_5.html
  11. Yeah i got a letter in the mail the other week saying I bonus too
  12. Here is the finished product, but I forgot to turn the lights on so the small ones dont show up. But yeah its orange, not red (dodgy batch I think). It comes up really even and bright. I'll post up pics when I get the red narva led's with bases. Brisbane? Im from Victoria
  13. Here is some pics Pretty much 1.Take Out (someone else has done a DIY on this so search) 2.turn over and uncsrew all the screws at the back 3.gently jam a screw driver along the top to unclip backing 4.remove backing 5.pull up plastic clip 6.remove white cable 7.unsrew 2 screws on circuit board 8.lift circuit board 9.Remove lights by turning, remove sleeve 10.put on new sleeve repeat for the lights you want then reverse to put back toghetter I used T-5mm narve sleeves, as you can see they are orange and not red as it says on the packet. I think you need 8 of them so buy 2 packs so you get 10, so you have 2 left for the ash tray and cigerette lighter. Cost is about $3 per pack, so it'll cost you $6. They dont fit on any of the lights. Bigger lights need to be trimmed down, and smaller ones need to be trimmed and superglued. Plus this probably will void warranty of the climate control and you may break something. So I take no responsibility for this as this is just a an explaination of how I performed this task. Step 1
  14. Hey i just went to the Narva website, the have dash led globes (4-5mm) with bases. The come in white, blue and red from what i can see. It will save heaps of time soldering globes and resistors, plus less problems with warranty cuz u can swap the green globes back in. I'm just wondering which one will fit the corolla dash base globe holes. here is the link http://www.narva.com.au/Globes_5.html
  15. yep that cosmetic border, it doesnt quite fit along the top. I didn't quite want to shove the crossovers overs in the door, just incase water drains in there. the magnets were not a problem it was the reach of of the speaker holes, i'll post pics this weekend wen i build a new mount
