Yes, thats what happened with mine, as i was checking it and at 9k, 3mths old, they said its normal to need aligning this model every 6 months, i told them what i thought of it. Unfortunately even though the alignment has been done, my issue continues, they are awaiting feedback from head office technical support. Wheel alignment done multiple times, the truth i reakon was in the figures given, if anyone has their alignment printout, tell us here what the Camber for the front wheels are. They are meant to be factory -0"38' (+ or -) 0"45'. therefore quite a broad range. Mine since the begining has been set for the left front wheel, the main culprit, at between -1"20' and -1"35', therefore according to all the tyre people in this world, this feathering should not occur and if it was set at the factory specs, my situation would be far worse. To me, since the front right is set at -0"50', it seems even from the manufacturer, they are aware of the issue and compensate somewhat for this by having a great negative camber, to reduce the wear.... Not good enough JAN! And its not even driving anywhere as hard as i would have in a sedan or my little barina sri! I would definitely scrub these tyres in weeks rather than years!. If anyone has their camber, let us know what yours is set at(19" wheels only, so KXS and Grande models) as it seems noone with 17" KXR has an issue that i know of.
