theres a company in brisbane that iv heard thats dirt cheap and they have representatives down here in melbourne. I heard they wipe off 200 bux from aami's quotes im not sure who they are, just heard it at a conversation over dinner with some relatives. one of my relatives has the lexus rs 4x4 or whatever and he went overseas, some punks got in and destroyed the interior worked out to be something like 9000 bux worth of damage for like 800 bux worth of full compo insurance. the cars valued at like 80grand or something somebody from brisbane care to enlighten us on the insurance groups up there?

thats the same concept they did with the magna and ralliart and vrx etc.... dont you reckon the front looks like mazda 3 and the rear of the civic and those sportivo rims... talk about "i want to be a holden" look but obviously ITS GOING TO BE SWARMED BY ASIANS =D

take it to a proper air con specialist the only way u will know is they will pump ur air con system with air and place a pressure gauge on it, basically if it goes down u got a leak =P well thats wat they use to do in the 90's im not sure wat new teckoz have come about to check this.

on top gear u should have also seen that a wrx and a evo cannot be compared, evo has active yaw sti has adjustable differential and better build quality at a slightly cheaper price both completely different. Actually its quite wrong. Mitsubishi japan is also haveing huge problems due to unsatisfactory customer service etc... in japan (plus we all know that the quality of mitsubishi is not as great) There was a huge documentary on this a couple of years ago. Ill also point out that the colt was not designed for the australian market, it was designed for the asia market and stupidly enough mitsuOOsutoraria decided to bring it here. U never know i mean as Ash Red Rolla said the stivo sold heaps, You see more stivos then levin's now a days. All depends. An audi a4 is really good looking car sophistication and i reckon its reasonably priced =P as for maintenance and parts omg.... however its up to u on whatever you want, seriously if you want turbo get it. I wont advise any1 to not get anything because its all about the learning experience. I will be upgradeing to turbo in the near future thats for sure. You only have 1 life to live and trust me =P with the current fuel prices going up there is a possibility that we will never experience the current enjoyments in a car like we have today. Im not saying get something fast and act like idiots =P but im sure every1 here has been thru that stage in P plates. however Im also sure people who are off their P's still act like idiots from what iv seen on the forum

lets see my suggestion is dc2r or something around there but if u want the nice pimp look then is200 is perfect. I have a dc2r and a corolla so just a pick of the day to decide which one to drive =P is200 it has a camry engine.... not very fast honestly.. a 1zz could prob beat it in a straight line AHEM *legal drag* i wanted one of these a long time ago u can prob fetch one at auctions for 15k honestly it all comes down to what you are after, if you want the vIP look get the is200. for around that money mark u can get a s15 nissan silvia subaru wrx 1998-2002 maybe even a evo spec subaru liberty *current shape* honda accord euro if u fork in a bit more for a nice colour or else the standard black and silver around that price its all up to wat u like =P

If your in melbourne and past ur warranty bull$#!T that toyota gives =P please try out chasers garage dynon road west melbourne down the road from footscray toyboata dealership they are great, they know their cars "especially cars with vtec or similar mechanisms". standard service is $165 can go cheaper if your stingy on price but quality of products used is not as good. motul oil change filter NGK sparks (iridiums will cost u extra *but ur car should be in tip top shape mechanically to get them in the first place ) top up all fluids vehicle safety check Thats cheap =P and its near the city about 5 minutes away Thats wat i call service at a nice price with customer satisfaction BigBum =P dont spew at the price buddy, i just found out myself ^^; and i didnt need to go to werribee toyota service centre LOL If ur after gearbox oil change and brake fluid flush + tyres etc.... plz try Bridgestone tyre & service centre down near my house =D corner of maribyrnong and rosamond They are great guys who know their cars and know what to do, unlike toyboata. When i bring my cars from auctions to get them checked out, i always go to them. Last time i brought the type R there they didnt even charge me labour costs =P. If ur after bearing change etc.. Dont take it to toyota bcoze they "DON'T" have the tools. Yes their mechanics have their own little sets like screw drivers and filter straps etc..to do basic services, but they dont have the tools to pull of ur bearings not only that to pull off ur axle *they will use a tube of steel and a hammer, which are not the right tools*. Can one of the moderators plz make a sticky in "inside outside" page for a place to put up cheap and reliable places to get your car serviced. *suggesting* Cheerz boys hope that helps a few melbournians out.

LOl i started this topic and u know wat my toyota recall papers came today LOL BUGGER ME i thought it didnt apply to mine, bcoze mine was made in japan it explains why iv always had this car and the head lights kept blowing =P wat a waste of all the money i spent on mtec 6500 k bulbs ; ; I still have blown bulbs in the headlight surrounding. glass everywhere =P i guess its toyota's job to take out the glass.
