    i mean the chrome trim that surrounds the reflector and indicator lens (for the aurion it surrounds the projector lens etc). that was painted matte black. the photo above didn't get painted.

    check out disturb3d and maximus rides. Ccfl and led respectively. I bought the ccfl kit from autojoy and that was around $140 a year ago. So that's like $300 labour

    Well I used the blade to separate one side of the filter. Then pulled it off. My screen is alot smaller to your sportivo one so its not too bad for me :)

    i remember a corolla member paid autojoy $450 for installing angel eyes and painting the chrome black.

    thanks mate! since that photo i sprayed some more and i am kicking myself for that because its too dark now :( i cant recommend niteshades as a chrome tint it doesn't coat evenly. if you can wait for duplicolor to release the metalcast - smoke spray then we can try

    i think i flipped it so the the back that was the stuck on the lcd is now on the outside. the flim is adhesive on the lcd side so i had to remove that with ethanol. i didn't glue it back but it holds it place fine. so you didn't remove the original film? maybe thats why your polarizer is not working right.

    did you remove the original film from the screen? no need to get another polarizer. i inverted my clock by removing the original film, ethanol to remove the glue and then reused it by flipping it.

    yeah its a yahoo japan auction but with a buy it now price. i guess you can buy bulk by buying a lot of auctions that will save you costs from combine shipping from seller to nengun and nengun to your address

    great choice of mods young! (is this your third name change? :D ) some interesting parts there, i didn't know cusco made a rear sway bar and those scuff plates look different but nice!

    today i tinted the chrome headlight trim for my second retrofit. I used niteshades (metalcast smoke was not available) but it did not stick on the chrome well at all! so i used adhesion primer which help abit but still too "grainy" i can only hope that its not very obvious once its behind the lens.
