  1. nvm. http://www.fordmods.com/ford-4l-and-6-cyli...ers-t76578.html
  2. not sure if it will fit. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-Corolla-e12-H...=item2304704749
  3. just wondering, are the supercheap calibre pod filters the same as drift/simota? just different colour?
  4. your car have hids? Hids are more brighter than the halogen high beams so in the human eye the highs appear to make little difference because of the brighter foreground lighting from hids which constrict the pupils in your eyes thus reducing vision in the distance. You can get brighter halogens from philips, narva and many others
  5. at the moment, power folding side mirrors.
  6. i really like the minimalist design man. brightness won't be an issue with that many leds :) but i think one side led should be angled towards the back for better side awareness. if you're game, blank out the quarter panel indicators. keep us updated.
  7. great pics and1! looks real mean with that ride height
  8. you da man alister! :D I can confirm that the actuators are also in factory headlights. Hopefully its prewired for a control switch as I see some unused plugs behind the mirror control panel
  9. oh btw it says actuator on it. tracing the three wires, 2 of them just join to the two parker light wires (to power them?) so maybe the green wire is the switch. EDIT: found the electrical diagram. should be easy to install with the headlight beam level control switch.
  10. +1 i think leds are more prone to failure in headlight conditions. unless you use heatsinks or turn them off when low/high beams are on. im going to try leds in my next headlights
  11. Hi guys i just opened up an aftermarket copy of oem headlight for the facelift zze and noticed this: i might have seen the same thing in the genuine toyota lights in my first retrofit but never looked into it. do you think its a headlight leveller?
  12. i'd like to add that quality ccfls can easily outlast the car. its the inverters that power the ccfls that fail but that can be replaced because they should be located outside the headlight.
  13. thanks kenneth. it's similar to the foglight install for your yaris except in the corolla i don't know where the foglight power is in the engine fuse box.
  14. wow really nice ride dutchie! i don't know what it is but there's something about it that sets it apart... i think its the colour and minimalist look :)
  15. i'm pretty sure the facelift hatchback and sedan use the same foglights. just different covers? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  16. the black part is some sort of vinyl adhesive so you will have to remove that before painting. the pros use 2pac paint but for diy acrylic lacquer is most compatible i think... wait for the experienced members to reply or search on diy painting. i recommend getting a pro to do it to avoid disappointment.
  17. chicken

    ALLEX

I love it too. white ftw! I hope you're not dismantling it. Such a prime example. Yeah how fast was you going in the carpark :D
  18. i got a separate question, is there toe adjustment for the rear of the zze corollas?
  19. go crazy and get this! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
  20. success! installed the driver side mirror and power folding! :yahoo:
  21. i just installed my jdm toyota ones and the passenger side doesn't fold as far as the driver's. from my research that's normal for the passenger side (to compensate for the extra angle the passenger mirror is set). is yours RHD?
  22. thanks kevsta! i didn't know autopro was the autobarn equivalent. i was after the short type (D1-30594925-U), 75mm neck, 110cm tall to fit foglights
  23. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/H7R-H7-FULL-XENON-H...=item45edb2f561 basically a black sticker covering parts of the bulb to reduce glare. TOCUK members have already picked up on it. looks like only the H7 size is available
  24. where can i get these dry filters? they make the size i'm after. cheers
