  11. with help from TOCUK, i wired the actuators to a headlight beam control switch (GBP 5) following the electrical diagram: my corolla was not prewired so i bought the 5 pin connector housing ($11) from toyota and made the harness. not very exciting to watch but here is the result Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load! overall, didn't cost much at all (5 pounds + $11) and quite satisfying to unlock a hidden feature in the corolla. is it worth doing? probably not lol :D

  22. Thanks mate. Yeah there are online stores in the US selling the smoke colour but because its an aerosol, its limited to ground shipping in the US. Might have to use nightshades instead :(
  23. Using proper hi-temp/caliper paint? What shade of blue? I've been looking for metalic blue caliper paint for yonks. None of the paint shops here seem to have it in metalic. Hi Paradigm =) My friend helped me with this... we used Metalcast both the Ground Coat (3x) and the Blue Metallic (5x) =) It says its hi-temp but the temp rating isn't that fantastic... So its testing stage for me, so far so good... The guys on SAU have used it to great effect =) Here is a Link to what it looks like on mine =) Hi Dreadangel, where did you get the metalcast from? do they have metalcast "smoke"? i've been looking for that smoke finish but they're not available in perth atm. also, what finish does the ground coat make? is it a dark reflective finish?
  24. Easy, say, one drive like a mad man at 180 Km/h, than brake like a girl to 40 km/h when approaching corners. Another one drive at 80-100 km/h constantly. which one is faster in real life average speed will tell. haha yeah thats a good idea!
