Guys, I'm in if the weather is good and it's on Sunday ;) Give me the meeting place and time and I shall be there. I wont like traffic lights, find a good scenic route. And yes, we could make it a night cruise as we have Monday off (and me, I have Tuesday off as well).

What about someone like me? I live in Melbourne and should me in Sydney on the queens birthday weekend and am etching to go on a cruise with you guys on the Sunday 12th in Sydney. Why the !@#$ would I buy an e-tag? Screw that! Isn't it possible for me to just go through with no tag, ring them up after going through and paying over the phone? We can do that here in Melbourne if we don't use Citylink often.

Actually, this all brings me to another topic. Today I washed my car and gave it a good detailing. I use nothing but Maguires. I used Maguires Endurance High Gloss and applied two coatings to my tyres when I washed my car. After my day out and my cruise to Ballarat and back I sat it in my garage and flicked on the lights so I could give it a quick scrub down. I've noticed that the high gloss gel spins off the wheels and leaves stains on the paint job. It took me ages with my Chamois to rub it all off and I'm wondering if there is any other way to remove that gunk next time I apply the gel and go for a spin. Yes, the bottle says you can prevent some of the spin off by removing the gel from the grooves of your tyres. Is there a better product to use which does not do this to the paint work, or another method? Thanks!

Well, my new Sportivo needs to be worn in. So I thought a cruise up the Great Ocean Road would be a wonderful day out for this purpose. If anyone is interested in such a cruise, let's organise it from now ;) Let's say: Sunday June 19th I've never been up the Great Ocean Road (G.O.R) so if anyone would like to give their input. Who would be interested in going on this cruise? I'd like to get some numbers, so put your hands up. I see a lot of new members with Sportivo's, hopefully we see them. Ok, so date is June 19th, on a Sunday, as the sun rises above the horizon. Yeah, it sure was dirty! I was wondering how clean they could get it for me before I picked it up. Not the best detailing job I've seen for a new car. Never again shall my car see so much dirt ;)

Yes, I picked my one up from Le Mans last night around 5pm. I've been looking at that one for 2 weeks and had it on HOLD till I got everything ready. I got the new 05 model, not the 04 model that was parked in front of it with a sun roof. Damn I love this car. Now to drive it to work, nice and warm!

Thanks mate, I look forward to seeing some of you guys soon and having a cruise. Just got my Sportivo today, and I must say, the luxury in these cars compared to my 1990 Corolla SX is just fabulous. The amount of eye turning is more noticeable too B)

Spit and polish ;)

Use petrol, perhaps diluted and brush it onto the spokes. Then hose off. Petrol removes anything. Not sure what it'll do to alloys over time though ;) Lift your car up, remove your wheels and clean them that way, inside and out. Brake pads and all.

Hi guys, I'm currently in Melbourne but am driving up to Central Coast NSW to meet a friend on the Queens Birthday weekend. My friend owns a Corolls SX (1990) and is a member of Sydney Rolla Club. I am thinking about leaving Melbourne Saturday around noon (after work) and being at the Coast by 10pmish. If anyone from Sydney is interested in going for a cruise on the Sunday (12th), that would be awesome! I own a 2005 Cascade Blue Sportivo; lowered, tinted. Also, if anyone from down here in Melbourne is actually interested in cruising all the way from Melbourne to Sydney to start off, that will be a nice loooong cruise to meet up with all the guys up in Sydney - You'll have to organise your own place to stay obviously. Or sleep in the car B) I do know Central Coast quite a bit, as I am originally from up there (moved to Melbourne in 1999). So if anyone is interested in the Sunday 12th Cruise, let me know and I'll get crackin' on locations, times (thinking of the old highway on the nice roads up to the entrance etc). Those who wish to leave from Melbourne, prepare for a long, perhaps boring trip and stack up those 6 cd's in the Sportivo's for a loooong trip down the Hume Hwy and across Albury and on to Sydney. If you have a partner, all the better for you. I'll be bringing my g/f. P.S: I'm 22.

Hey guys, Just wondering if the club ever gets together for meets and cruises and if any are done here in Melbourne? I'm in the Caroline Springs area, should be picking up my all new Sportivo late this week and would love to go on a large cruise some weekend.

Hey guys, I'm new to these forums and have been reading the dicussions here for a few days now. I am a current Corolla SX (1990) owner and have just bought myself a bran new Corolla Sportivo 2005 model, lowered, tinted and should be picking her up on Thursday! Hmm, my choice was modding my SX or getting a new car. I wanted the new smell, the leather interior, the luxury and the extra power. I drive an hour each way to work in peak hour traffic, so a comfy car is what I wanted, and something to look good in! Nice caaar, can't wait to drive it around ;) Anyone here a member of the Sydney Rolla club? I have a mate called CrusinSX on those forums up in NSW (I'm in Melbourne). Oh, and I'm joining the TEAM CASCADE BLUE!
