  1. Hello All, Yes, indeed I am back. And I've been going through lists of things I wish to modify my car with. From ricing it up with cosmetics such as eye lids, rims, stickers & badges, oil caps, filter caps, through to performance upgrades such as TRD Exhaust manifold and muffler, CAI, TRD's Suspension "SUSKIT", Strut bars & braking as well as Mechanical LSD (if I can get my hands on all of these things here in AUS). Anyway, I've designed a sticker for my rear and front windows and will see how much it'll cost to have made. Here are the images, and by the way, I downloaded the Toyota Font from a website to get that original toyota look. Front Window & Side Skirts? Rear Window, enlarged to cover whole back window. Let me know what you think! I can't wait to get these on along with the official TRD logo's under my VVTL-i and Corolla Badge on the rear. Sincerely, Samuel
  2. I wish I could, but unfortunately I wont have the money for the ferry ride in time. Have a new tyre to go pick up and a few bills to pay over the next two weeks. I can of course meet up with you guys when you get back to Melbourne if you are all still in good shape and in cruising mood. Thanks!
  3. You stole my idea :P I was thinking around the lines of organising something for next summer. For example: Friday Night, take ship to Tazzie Sat cruise around the Tasmanian roads. Sat Night take ship back to Melb. Oh P.S: Yes I'm back ;)
  4. Count me in, as long as I'm not sleeping by then 10pm Mazda City, Vic Market. If I'm there guys, I'm there, if not don't wait up for me, means I'm dead asleep. Cyas'!
  5. I just put the 'Till Late' there so that there is no real time limit as to how long the meet may last. It's exactly how you explained it. Catch up, have a chat, organise official cruises Have dinner. Those who wish to split, split Go for a cruise with those who wish
  6. I created a POLL for the weekly Westside meet at http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=4584 It seems most have voted for Sunday, starting from 5pm onwards. If you haven't voted already, do so, so that we can get a better idea of what time suits everyone else and we can finalise a day and starting time by tomorrow (sat) afternoon! My MSN: anduin@dreamcities.net
  7. Members from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, please vote on the best day and timeframe which suits you for a weekly westside meet!
  8. Look, I don't mind eiher way. I personally chose Saturday night because I work 5am-11m Saturdays and meeting up on a Saturday night will allow me to have an awesome long sleep in Sunday morning. Whereas if we meet Sunday night I wont be able to stay out past 9:30pm as I have work again Monday morning 5am. You guys don't HAVE to go out night clubbing every Saturday night. Come see us at the meet fortnightly even, or when you can. I have to work Saturdays and back on Monday..... Poll Time!
  9. Yes, yes, Track Day! That's more fun that dragging down a straight line for sure. I'll be there if we set a date not too far down the track. Definately after Christmas and New Years eh??
  10. Saweet. Seems there's quite a lot of us here in the western suburbs, we could have a lot of fun. What time suits everyone on a Saturday?
  11. Just as all of you guys left actually, keep forgetting everyones names :P 118 ran once again and got 13.75 in his Sportivo Corolla. Surprising as it may be, that's what he ran, I saw it with my own eyes. The stivo's avarage runs today were mid-low 15's to high 14's. Except for this 13.75. From what I heard, reaction time was on the dot and gear shifting was perfect, playing with the clutch. NOt that you'd want to do that again. He has the ticket, have seen it, saw the boards. Electronic error somehow?
  12. To edit my post, I got the name wrong and am using Meguire's Endurance High Gloss which lasts weeks and is a gel applied to the tyres by using a small sponge. VERY glossy, and as above I describe how I keep it off my paint work.
  13. I use Meguires Hot & Shine as well. It's in a squeeze bottle like the Meguires Car Wash stuff you can get, which I also use. I use a small dish washing sponge to apply the tyre gel and apply only once. I get no spin off. Oh, and of course I use the SOFT side and usually find a sponge with no scourer end on it to be safe if I get close to the rims. I use to apply it twice for a mega shine effect, but too much spin off and tough to remove from the paint. My method though may also be the reason. I wash the car fully, clean the rims, dry the whole car, then I apply the tyre gel. I leave the car to rest for a while on the drive way, maybe half an hour and take it for a spin. The first km or so I drive real easy, real slow around the local small streets, less than 50km/h. THEN, I go to the servo and make sure my tyre pressure is all good. I pump my tyres to 38psi. 32 is the standard and 42 is the max when you drive 140km/h and over. So, considering I like to push my car at times in open roads with no traffic or housing I've decided to pump my tyres to 38psi for my style of driving and for a nice drive still around the city at lower speeds.
  14. Heathcote is near Bendigo? Will be showering here in Melbourne tomorrow so I would have cancelled, but according to http://www.weather.com/activities/travel/b...=1&from=weekend linked from the Heathcote Raceway webpage, it will be sunny/partly cloudy and more cloudy later in the afternoon. Looks like a cool day, around 16c degrees; but at least I can wash my car and we can be out of Melbourne before the showers hit later in the afternoon tomorrow! That is, if the forecast from that website is accurate.
  15. Just letting you all know that I will be coming to spectate. Will be at the k-mart parking around 7:30am. And just the clarify, the k-mart you are all speaking of, is it the one on the Hume Hwy when you just turn off the Western Ring?
  16. I'm fine with next week. Anyone else that can make it this week let me know and I'll be there. Otherwise I will wait until next week. Hey Spec, you work Saturday nights or something?
  17. Hey All, So who will be at the St Albans maccas this Saturday night. Let's say, around 8pm or later? Or even earlier? We could even make it a permanent weekly meet if all goes good. Dinner before meeting or all eat junk at maccas, haha. Meet wont officially include a cruise every time, but we can discuss upcoming events and organise cruises with just the westside or the whole club! We can of course go driving up and down the roads of the local areas for some relaxation, listening to music, just cruising along the local roads; letting people know we are out there without causing trouble. A permanent meet will also allow new, interested members to come meet us and find out about this website for upcoming cruises etc, or just hang out and talk about mods and life. Lots of good places to have "coffee" around the west and being in St Albans, lots of good food too. So who's in? Let's get names and have our first meet! Anduin
  18. Ah, thanks for clearing that up with me. I completely forgot where the St Albans maccas was, yet I drive past there so often. Well, let's make it safe to say. Let's start weekly meet ups there on Saturday nights and see what happens? I don't mind going to the 'east' side meeting area every now and again, but it's a fair drive. A central location would not be bad either, but not as cool as driving around the Sunshine, St Albans, Keilor, Hillside, Taylors, Caroline Springs areas B)
  19. So, is it safe to say St Albans maccas is a permanent meet for Westsiders? Is that the brand new Maccas just built at the corner of Kings Rd & Taylors Rd? I live in Hillside, so it's very close and a perfect meeting spot for me, weekly, fortnightly. Saturday nights are best for me due to work at 5am Monday mornings. Let me know guys, I'll be there for sure if it's around St Albans, Sunshine, Footscray, Watergardens, Taylors Lakes etc.
  20. i dont recommend Le Mans Toyota, their prices are not very competitive. ← Yep, I learnt the hard way
  21. I need to know the location of the meet up, where are are going exactly (kms) by the end of tonight. I have my g/f and 2 friends coming in my car, and a mate from work bringing along his newly purchased imported Skyline - if he knows where to meet us. So, where to and where from?
  22. I too may come along with my trusty g/f ;) So, what do you mean by... Haunted House? Do I need to be scared?
  23. $18 General Entry I will be there at around 1pm today (Sunday 26th) - no, not showing off my car, just looking. Want to meet up my number is 0413 870 865
