  1. Most fabricators should be able to whip up something fairly quickly. I have not see anything specific to the Corolla on the market.
  2. In regards to the remote release. Many aftermarket alarm systems have the function that you could wire in, however I have not seen a stand alone unit for that function.
  3. You will likely need to press them out, so unless you have a press, get the mechanic to do it.
  4. Have you tried going to a wreckers, looking on eBay, etc. for a second hand unit?
  5. ARP is a brand of bolts, you will not need them in a stock application. You should replace the clutch and flywheel bolts with OEM ones, however you can normally get away with using them a couple of times. The flywheel will need machining, most brake and clutch places will be able to do it, there are also mobile machining businesses. It would be a good idea to replace the rear main seal whilst everything is apart, it might not leak now, but might in 6 months time if you don't. By the sounds of it a standard clutch kit would get the job done.
  6. For this application, an OEM pump would be the best solution for the problem. It would be a good idea, judging by that pump assembly, to inspect and clean the fuel tank. Also have a look at the fuel cap seal as it appears that dirt is entering into the fuel system. Depending on the model, OEM pumps can be had for less than $150(not from a dealer).
  7. If you get a clutch kit, most will have the pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout(clutch release) bearing and an aligning tool. Brand is personal choice, however that was just an example of a fault that can occur. Other brands may have their own faults. As I said I used one without issue, until I tried to put too much power through it and it slipped. Carbon thrust bearings haven't been used for years.
  8. May also be a shoe on the backing plate, you will need to pull it apart to inspect to be sure.
  9. Has there been any sign or burning brakes, smells or excessive heat?
  10. Have the driveshafts been removed or replaced at all? Any issues whilst braking? Any rumbling or other noises?
  11. If has started since it was replaced, it may have been over adjusted or reassembled incorrectly.
  12. Clutch release bearing. Be aware, there have been quite a few cases in the past of Exedy clutch disc spring retainers cracking, causing the springs to fall out and the clutch to jam. That being said, I have run one for years and have never had this issue. Just something to keep in mind.
  13. Put your vehicle details in the link below: http://www.dba.com.au/dba-part-finder/
  14. Welcome. There are very limited amounts of these vehicles still around, let alone for sale. They pop up occasionally, however most will require a fair amount of work. I have only seen a couple for sale in the last 12 months.
  15. Remember to get the ECU and wiring loom with the engine when you get it. Even better, get a half cut or a wrecked vehicle. The Facebook buy, swap and sell pages are a good place to start looking.
  16. Welcome, unfortunately there are very few of those events that take place. Usually groups like Torque Time or Downshift run them
  17. Tried the usual eBay, Gumtree, etc.? If so, you could try OZ Celica.
  18. Have you tried filling the tank full? With fuel prices as they are $10 would be around 7-8litres which is about 10% tank capacity. As I said above, it may not be enough to register.
  19. It automatically resets, $10 is likely not enough to trigger the reset.
  20. Would likely need a different manifold, gearboxes can be adapted, have a read around to see what others have done on Toymods, etc. A 4A-GE may also be another option as well.
  21. If you want a reliable more modern engine, you could go for a 5S-FE or a 3S-GE.
  22. Is your 2000 petrol a 5 or 6 stud wheel?
