  1. More information on the model please. 1997 was a changeover year.
  2. In the Northern Territory, of course.
  3. For that money, you are realistically looking at an eBay cable with software only.
  4. Have you tried looking on eBay for Sportivo remote instead of "Sportiva"?
  5. Any decent OBD-II scanner will work. What is your budget?
  6. A scan tool will not give you the service history, it will show actual values and fault codes only.
  7. Moved to Wanted to Buy section. In future please post these threads there. It also helps to have more information, regarding condition wanted/budget.
  8. This is a very specific question, might be worth trying http://www.newhilux.net.
  9. An auto electrician seems like the best option.
  10. Probably not. Have you tried contacting Lumen directly? http://www.lumen.com.au/contact.html
  11. Your service intervals are too far apart. I would not go over 10,000km between services. I would definitely change the fuel filter.
  12. If there is no clicking sound when the indicators or hazards are on, that should be the issue. Take the old one out and head to an auto parts store and grab a new one.
  13. The alarm/immobiliser may have had a flasher built in. Likely the flasher relay.
  14. It looked like the flasher was working fine in the video.
  15. The signs definitely point to an alarm/immobiliser issue. Normally, the indicators wouldn't flash unless that was the issue. Does the remote(if it has one) do anything when pressed?
  16. Does the car have an aftermarket/factory immobiliser or alarm fitted?
  17. As Hiro stated, it is extremely common, use it as a very loose guide only. The gauges are generally far more accurate.
  18. You have the video settings set to private. It needs to be set to unlisted or public.
  19. Did you follow the owner's manual?
  20. Road and Track at Ipswich are the specialist in QLD for MR2 and MR-S models. http://www.roadandtrack.net.au/
  21. Fluids? Are you able to provide a video of what it is doing?
  22. Is the replacement battery charged? Are all of the fluids full?
  23. That is what I was asking. Sounds like it might be a dead actuator. Depending on how confident you are, they are fairly easy to access by pulling the door card off. From there, you can easily diagnose it with a multimeter.
