  4. There was a dealer recall/modification done on vehicles with the suspect hoses. In most cases it was completed.
  5. DJ KOR, not D Joker. He won't be back.
  6. I agree with everything Hiro has said above. I have had an 1993 SDV10 sedan for the last 10 years and I also had and 1993 SDV10 wagon for 2 years(upgraded to a new Hilux) without issue. As a matter of fact I am still using the original dash temp gauge in my project car as well as an aftermarket gauge for the aftermarket ECU. Lo and behold the gauge sensor shows exactly the same as aftermarket one is telling me. So from my experiences and your logic, I should create a topic called "SDV10 Dash Temperature Gauges Work Perfectly Everytime"?

  8. Simple, don't use the voice recognition, it is a waste of time.
  9. That is not an SX6 interior. Have you got an actual photo of your interior? Is the head unit(CD player) the original one or an aftermarket one?
  10. What temp buttons on the steering wheel?

  14. Sounds like a worn lifter, shim, camshaft lobe or valve spring. Would be worth getting it to a mechanic very soon.
  15. If you don't understand what he was saying, I strongly suggest taking it to a mechanic. It could be anything, ignitor, distributor cap, leads, ECU, etc.
  16. Nowhere near as awesome as a 2JZ Camry!
  17. I will do the conversion for you for $150,000.00. Let me know if you are happy with that price.

  19. If you are serious about doing this, shell out the money(Approx. $50) for a Haynes or Gregorys manual and research it. It will tell you how to do it, step by step. Once a head gasket goes, you really should have the head and block checked for any distortion to prevent it from leaking again. I would guess at minimum, a few hundred dollars for gaskets(do not re-use the old ones) and coolant, plus any consumables used during the process. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Gregory-s-Car-Manual-Camry-SXV20-MCV20-276.aspx?pid=288359#Cross
