  1. In Brisbane man, you should bring it up and we could make it happen.
  2. Holy crap, you're alive! As for costs, custom means expensive, last set I know of were well over $1000. In regards to the OBX, not sure exactly, the info is around, you just need to search for it.
  3. To my knowledge no Australian company makes extractors for the 3VZ-FE or 1MZ-FE engines. You will have to get them custom made or import them. OBX in the US makes them, however I believe they require modifying.
  4. The bases are very much the same, I see no reason why you could not do the conversion provided you obtain all the necessary components.
  5. As above, I have done both setups and prefer the turbo route.
  6. Double check all vacuum hoses and electrical connectors are reconnected,
  7. Buy a new headunit/GPS with open source maps. Otherwise, you will need to fork out the coin.
  8. Sounds very likely. It is often a better idea to replace the cap and rotor if it has a fair few years of service under it's belt.
  9. Another method you could use is opening the bonnet and start cutting wires until the lights turn off...
  10. No, do not do it. One very good reason is that your drive wheels are the same as your steering wheels. With all the weight over the rear, it is a recipe for disaster.
  11. With enough work you could make it happen and run the GT4 running gear.
  12. MR2, Camry, Corolla, Starlet, Celica...Hell, there is even a Mini with one going into it. Think outside the box and do something unique.
  13. What was your origial plan for it? The question of what you can put it in is directly related to your wallet size.
  14. It is stamped into the block and rather hard to see.
  15. I have been using one of these for ages, 540CCA is more than enough. If you want a quality battery, you will have to pay for it. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Century-Car-Battery-55D23L-540CCA.aspx?pid=287265#Cross
  16. The engines/belts are very much similar, I would suggest sticking to the 100,000km intervals.
  17. Is it school holidays already?
  18. Hey man, hope you are doing well, I saw the accident pics on a mate's Facebook and heard what happened. Sucks to see one of the best condition JZXs in that condition. Hope the leg heals soon.
