    It's pretty easy to do on those airboxes, especially in the rush of the service times placed on the mechanics(usually apprentices). Still, might be worth making the dealer aware of this.

    With those codes and those kilometres I would suggest it would be a faulty O2 sensor. Try and get your hands on a better code reader and you should have your answer.

    Possibly blown every seal in the crankcase. The oil would have been fairly whipped by the crankshaft.

    Agree with pulling the plugs and cranking over, however I would advise getting a trailer to prevent further damage.

    Haven't done one on a Hiace, but they a re normally a hell of a job, pulling half of the dash out.

    They are not deep enough, buy ones that are the correct ones. You may have to get them from Toyota.

    Somewhat bolt on. There is other work required and they are expensive to find one in a decent condition as they can not be bought new.

    Other than sound, pod filters have little to no advantage over the stock airbox, sometimes they even sap power. As far as the sound system is concerned, you may even benefit with running a larger deep cycle AGM battery in place of the stock lead acid. Without knowing specs of the system it is hard to recommend a solution.

    We know what works, he may have, but odds are that he has never done one on a Camry before. Just go with a 2.5".
