supercharger or....wife :P But seriously, a timing belt that has been tensioned way too tight can sound like its got a supercharger on it. Instead of letting the spring tensioner tension the belt some mechanics tend to lever it tighter with a screw driver or bar. Sound like this at all? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubydLtwPDqo

Yeah i wasn't sure, and it was more of a "hey what the?" kind of thing. I didnt have my car anyways, had her (sh*t box) Laser, we went for a drive after she washed it.

Maybe a Genuine Toyota part may be available, surely there would have been an option And yeah i have one, i put it in before i had my alarm in, kills the fuel pump power.

I seen your ride today and i saw a little bit of the red one in the shed too, was driving round with the Mrs and she took a wrong turn, and ended up in T****h Ct (name covered for your protection :P ) and seen the blue rolla out the front looking very schmick, good job mate. P.S. Love the street name.

I have had to source a lot of parts from the US, just depends on how bad u want it as to whether u will pay the price. With the exchange rate as it is at the moment u wont get a much better chance to get it

:o Sucks to hear about the car, but driving a truck isnt easy, especially in the city, visibility is very poor especially if you are of the left side of that vehicle.
