  1. I picked up my whiteline for $70.......couldnt refuse :D
  2. I spoke to a guy at northen brake and clutch located near the North Melbourne Station.....or for all you single guys near "Images" :P (look for the red light above the door). They have two types for our sportivo...a stock replacement or a heavy duty. The stock replacement Exedy brand is $550 fitted while the heavy duty is $650...the difference is that the heavy dudy engages faster that the stock replacement.
  3. Pics :) http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde..._album&album=94 After driving for a few days i must admit the car feels a little torquier down low and the pod is nice and quiet around cruising speeds, only opens up its throat around 4 grand and upwards. At idling speed it makes a howling type noise....quite cool. The system is not bolted by any brackets it fits soo tight under the headlight it doesent need anything else.

  8. Let me know about the magna flow i am interested.
  9. I had 205/50 on the front and 195/55 on the rears. Nothing wrong with the handling. Salesman techniques to make u buy 4 new tyres. In your budget youre looking at a nice set of Toyo Proxes latest ones, just have a look at the toyo performance range like the transpath, also a very very good tire.
  10. I got it delivered today took only a week to arrive, happy about that. Installation was not as straight forward, i had to cut about an inch off the end where the pod sits as there was no room to put the pod. The pipe end where the pod sits is not bent down like the TRD or AEM. By far the hardest of all intakes to install but it looks good and sounds fairly lod. The pod is smaller than a TRD one, same as my old K&N very similar to the AEM. My missus was over in my old 03 rolla with the TRD CAI and K&N filter. We made 6 rolling starts from 20kph in 2nd till redline and there was no difference at all. They both sound awesome in lift but performance wise no difference. I remember when my car was stock and we made a rolling start there was no diff at all so it makes me wonder how much power you really get from a CAI.....never mind though the noise is great. Pics will be up in the next couple of days.
  11. This is the one you want....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7980804223&ed=1121395453000&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOTB:AU:6 Mine is waiting at the airport to get cleared through customs......should be installing it monday night.
  12. You can get a torque converter. That will enable you to convert power into torque my old man has one is his camry....its auto :P :P :P :P :P serious dude no jokes :P :P
  13. Its on the way i just received confirmation, there was a slight delay, but should be here in the next couple of weeks.
  14. As soon as the money is in man. Its reaching 45000km now man, this baby is here to stay. ← Only 45,000K's shait...my old rolla has 60+.
  15. That chaser looks nasty.... whats underneath that hood??
  16. Ghetto Danz :D ...how many K's you clocked up now bro??? time to upgrade B)
  17. Egene, you must use some type of cleaner even detergent, so that it washes the dirt and grease off your filter. Then let it dry naturally. PFFFFFFFf thats gona take forever, so i preheated the oven to about 120 degrees, and let the filter "roast" for a while. Then i used the hair dryer from far away and it dried in a couple of hours. Then i reapplied oil. It was like new, except i oiled it too much so it sucked up a bit up and gave a hell of a stench in the garage that lasted a few days but it was fine.
  18. You can have mine also buddy :) i'l have a latte with 2 sugars thanx :P
  19. Whjat happened to the foglight??? did it interfere with the pod???
  20. I have cleaned a TRD pod with K&N cleaning kit and reoiled it with K&N oil and it came up like new. As for Injen i will let you know Melvinlau once i get it. Youre in the Western Suburbs (VIC) rite??? i'll let you know when i install it and youre welcome to come along and see, and lend some help if you want :).
  21. Nah were about the same she would love me now reading this B) . Thats why it was a good match pretty much everything was even except shes got lighter 17's than my stockies.
  22. :D Just purchased the Injen for $240 US including insurance and delivery :) :) Thats $ under $350........now you compare that with 600 and 450 from you know who...... <_< I'll keep you guys posted on how it will turn up and delivery times for future references. I think we should have a sticky for CAI info.
  23. Ok....we werent racing, we were just testing out the mod as i really thought a CAI would make just that little bit extra, while at the same time i had a feeling the 05 model stock pulled harder than the 03 stock and the 03 +cai would be close, and my assumptions were some what correct. On the other hand my gf always kicks my ***** when ever we have a little go so last nite was the first time when she didnt kick my *****
