:) NICE TIMES, those 4ag's were miles ahead of competition in their day. They still put alot of generic 2 liter cars to shame 20 years later.
-
What are the stock tyres worth each?? You guys reckon they are worth putting back on??
I got quoted $225 per tyre.
-
Is she any good looking? :) :)
You decide:

But boy can she drive!
Yeah she can drive, i wonder how she rides?
Yep Stewie she'd get it :)

Well I also decided to try shifting before 8000rpm, using the clutch, no flat shifting. I changed around 7800, and found it to be better than letting it rev over 8000, it dropped to about 6400. Im definely not gona rev it past 8 grand from now on, 7800 seems to be the best range for a good 1-2nd shift.

Oh shoit i missed the meet. That was on satday was it? My car got sandwiched that day and yeah it was a nice day...until...SMASH!
SH@T man, how bad is the damage?

.
Also a MCT representative mentioned, when we all met up, that the Corolla Sportivo Chassis will bend in the long term, like a banana, due to the excessive power output, please again, can an interstate member verify.
The new Stivo may not be released, or if it is, it will have less power than the current model, please some one verify.
Cheers
Sport1vo.
P>S> who keeps on moving topics in this site. There a quite a few that have been moved to Buy and Sell, but they do not belong their?
Where the hell did you hear that crap?
Thanx E_Gene for supplying the lids will slap them on asap. Ohh by the way 2FST4U wanted to hear my CAI in action, so i gave it a bit, hit a pothole at about 90kph, totally stuffed my right front tyre, it has a lump sticking out of the side. Lucky my spare is perfect, got quoted, $225 for a replacement tyre in same dimensions.

Good Stuff Guys, TRS_141, your rims looks smashing from the side, really suit the car, best set of aftermarket ive seen on a rolla yet :)
-
Certains parts of the body turned hard when I saw my Stivo moving that quick!
Ohh boy, Stewart you worry me sometimes mate B) . How the hell did he manage to change at 7800 and still land on 6600?
-
Thats all a load of crap, its the price of the elise that counts in this situation. I mean the Corolla is at least 300kilos heavier if not more than an elise, so it has all that extra load put on the engine, yet our manuals are no soo descriptive. I hit lift first time on the way home, so what? im not gona have this car forever.
-
I havent changed them yet, but when i do i intend to put 205/50/16, either michelin or yokohama.
-
So if thats the case, then technically the 0-400m should be more like low 15's maybe even high 14's?
-
Heheheh a commie!!! i mean DA DA!!!!! :D
-
Peekay has more than 103kw, trust me ive been in his car, he would leave most if not all of us behind. Every dyno is different, ive seen his dyno sheet, and his car wasn' tested in shootout mode, if it were,it would spit out 125+.
-
;) Ohh man not this again, just chill it guys.
-
someone remind me next time NOT to race an M3!!!
Damn it! I thought...hey..i'll give it a shot....but lost every single one.
so..decided to jump on the BMW website...no wonder! they're a Mid 5 second (0-100) car!
damn it!!
-Chris
You gota know your limits mate!!!!!! :P :P a little bit out of our league :D :D
-
Hmmmm that sorta explains why the scooby didnt blow me off when i landed in lift 1-2.
-
heheheh, do you think she had a CAI!!, i mean did she have nice big luscious lips? :D :D My ex thinks i broke up with her because since i got my car i was spending more time with the car than her. I told her, you want me back? i wanna hear you scream like my rolla at 8000rpm, she hung up on me!!!
-
Nah mate not quite :P , although you can feel the sucking motion better
-
I think your a clown!!!!! :o :o :P :D :D
, it's all good man, takes alot to get me offended. I tell you something though, ive had a few vaccum jobs in the car, and they sucked harder than my cold air intake
-
What!!!!!!! do you guys know how to drive manual??? you only really need 1st for takeoffs once the car is completely still, even then you can take off in 2nd, you just gotta rev it around 3 grand before you let the clutch go, i reackon the car is a real beaut in slow traffic, it's the only time other peole have the opportunity to check the car out :D
-
Yeah it should fit fine, im still hiding 3 porn DVD"s and a pair of handcuffs under there, along with a pack of ansell. Hmmm might vaccum the thing tomorrow B)
-
Nah guys, you are all way too greedy.I would just buy a real blonde playboy model, not the crappy blow up ones, and get her to permanently look after the leather trim and the 6 speed knob.
and any of you guys that want to go for a spin. I'd make sure she's a real screamer after 6 grand just like the car :D
-
I dont see the big deal, all that a CAI is , is a pipe with a pod and the hole for the airflow sensor. I cant see how much research has been put into it, heck if i had the choice again i would probably do it myself too, but theres too much stuffing around with pipes etc. As for power gains? depends on the weather, on cooler night more power of course, but you get used to it. I wouldnt know unless i took on a stock system. The sound is definetly throatier, especially when the engine is cold.
